The last "kan" is just a shorten for "akan". "Bersua" is not informal but we tend to use more on "berjumpa" or "bertemu" to explain the context. "adat" there is not to explain the normal meaning of custom or convention. That "adat" means norms. So, the first line translation should be as simple as "meeting and separation is a human norm."

Ah yes norm! That was the word I was looking for. This is why you shouldn't do things last minute. And by you I mean me. Thanks for the comment!

You're right about US (and most parts of the world) singing the song right at New Year, like saying farewell to the year I guess :D But, I learned something new today, I didn't know there's a Malay version of this song, because I only learned the Chinese and English version because I went to SRJK back then, very interesting indeed. You're so right about malay language using 2 similar meaning words to enhance and emphasize... sedap dan enak, suka dan gembira, sayu dan layu..... and of course, bahlol dan bongok.... :p okay maybe not the last one, I just miss Tan Sri P. Ramlee that's all. Happy New Year!
@sierralisse88974 жыл бұрын
Hahaha, the last one got me. Wah, you went to SRJK? So you can speak fluent Mandarin? That's super impressive. I want to learn Mandarin too but the intimidation is real so I've been putting it off like a true procrastinating champion.
@aleksitanninen4 жыл бұрын
@@sierralisse8897 Chinese language memang is one of the hardest to learn sebab kena hafal characters because of the pictograph writing system, no choice, memang kena hafal. Secondly, pronunciation(yang ni semua orang tahu) is not easy with the intonations, you almost have to be able to sing it to speak it well. Either way, if you have kawan2 that can teach you, that's the best. Yes, I can speak fluent Mandarin(12 years of Chinese education, have to lah), Canto, Hokkien, a bit of Hakka as well. I also know German sebab kerja 3 tahun kat sana, and I would like to learn Korean and Japanese when I have time. I guess you can say that I memang minat languages despite being an engineer and all :)

Great vid as always :D I have 2 things to say though: 1- your hand looks so stiff while playing xD you're lucky you play other instruments so you know enough theory to walk your way through rough hand shape...but actually holding a small plastic ball in the palm of your hand is a great exercise, so try that maybe 😊 2- THAT CUTE THING THAT LOOKS LIKE A SLICE OF BREAD ON THE PIANO, WHAT'S THAT?! 😂😂
@sierralisse88974 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip! I'll try! I really have no clue how fix my hand posture, I know it looks super stiff. I know any piano teacher would have fixed it immediately but I don't have enough money for one T_T And thank you for noticing the slice of bread!!! IT'S SO CUTE RIGHT? It's actually a sponge for dishwashing in the shape of a slice of bread, but it's too cute to use. Every time I see it, I don't have the heart to use it because I know it would waste away into nothing, so I decided to adopt it into my family of cute things. So far I have the black cat in the foreground, a round panda and this lil bread.
@homamnabelsi97494 жыл бұрын
@@sierralisse8897 I'm not that good a pianist myself since I'm self taught as well...but I've been playing for a few years so that's why my posture is better, and honestly it only got better recently when I started playing block 7th chords (and oh, do I love jazzy chords xD), but I'm always open for mutual learning experiences if you're interested. And...a sponge...I kinda didn't see that coming tbh😂😂, I thought it was a lamp or a humidifier or something, but yeah, COMEL SANGAT :D
