Let me weigh the pros and cons of reading books online. It's always beneficial if you consider all sides before reaching a decision. One reason to be in favour of e-books is that they are affordable. Another upside is that you don't need to go to a bookstore or library. Many other positives are there as well. I'm against online reading because it affects eyes very badly. Another drawback is that you don't always get the unique delight that you would get from a physical book. I'm here undecided.😊 Mam your lesson was really inspiring. Keep going!

Dear Annemarie, tks for this great lesson. My "pros and cons" example relates to one of my biggest passion: travelling. There are so many reasons why I am in favor of making luggages and go to new places but the main upside I can see in travelling is to get outside of your own comfort zone and discover that a different approach to everyday life is always possible and also enjoyable. On the other hand, should I point out a drawback of travelling I would say that it is often too expensive and this doesn't allow to plan more than one vacation a year.

One reason I am in favor of online classes is students will be busy and they stay in touch with studies. One reason I am against that they are increasing class hours, but it's not good for students and their health also.

Hello Annemarie! I have to weigh pros and cons about to keep learning English in the next future. I' m in favor of keeping learnig becouse: I will gain more understanding of the language. I will get more confidence. I can use my spare time doing something useful. Iwill be able to watch interesting videos like the Speak Confident English ones. The cons are: Learning English is a bit tiring. I have to try hard to overcome language difficalties.I have to pay some money to tutors

My son has decided to buy a car and we have had to weigh the pros and cons. A reason to be a favour of his decision is to give him the opportunity to take responsibility and be independent. Although the downside of that is the trouble of having 3 cars for the family.

I am now weigning on the issue that whether I should buy my daughter a smarphone or not. I can clearly see both sides for this issue. Hi Sami, you've got a good start here. A couple of things: 1. One of the reasons -- notice the 's' on the word reasons. This is important to keep because you're stating one of many reasons. 2. One of the reasons in favor of campaign is... -- this indicates a reason why you support something. But "One reason for the success of the campaign is the massive budgets..." has a different meaning. This highlights one reason of many that the campaign has been successful in general.
