9:30 - Fafnir was always more infamous of a mob than Nidhogg to players, so if this really was a fanservicey XI raid, it's probably Fafnir. Also Fafnir and Nidhogg look practically identical... if you're thinking of a purple variant you might be thinking of Jormungand.

Not sure if the European version had it, but Super Mario Bros. 3 did have the original Mario Bros. game in it here in the US.

Wouldn't say FF11 is impossible to catch up, I myself started it in spring, and finished the major expansions and got some of the BIS. There's definitely some time gated gear, but a lot of buyable now with gil or just running content when there are events and drop boost. I think the bigger challenge is knowing what you can prioritize in the time available when you look up any BIS list that make the FF14 one look ultra basic in comparison.

I think Jormungand is the only great wyrm from 11 that doesn't appear in 14. 😮 yet

For new clans, one thing they could do that Yoshi-P had a reaction to when asked is to give half-race traits-like how Hilda is a Hyur with Elezen ears. And I have to very heavily disagree with Eureka being impossible to solo. I've done it on multiple characters just fine, but maybe EU doesn't have very regular BA runs like Crystal. I don't know how much more casual you can get with killing mobs and doing NMs, cause I would go in and turn my brain off all the time to try and get drops. I guess I'll see since I'm going to do it again on my Ragnarok character to get the Strider boots!

Ok, i feel clarification is needed for Yoshi-P and his future of MMO gaming answer. The reason it's so far out is because anything in the next ten years is stuff he has access to because he's the head of Creative Studio 3. He is literally working on the next generation of titles and can't give that as an answer because he already knows the answer.

10:05 Your chat saying "just fan speculation" is killing me when the picture is literally Fafnir/Nidhogg (both bosses use the same model) in Dragon's Aery from FFXI. I've camped this asshole too goddamn many times in my decade of playing XI to not recognize him and his arena on sight. Bunch of XIV kids trying to ignore all us XI vets telling you outright who that is. Looking forward to once again seeing Faffhogg Spike Flail some noobs into the next year!

24:53 ... what? Galka don't lay eggs, they reproduce through reincarnation, not sure where you got the egg laying from lmao
@SpeakersNetwork3 ай бұрын
This is a reference to something we talked about a very long time ago. Since we don't really understand how the reincarnation works (the actual birth of the reincarnated Galka), why not an egg. They most likely just materialize, but it's funnier to imagine the Galka just popping out an egg. I think it was based on a forum or reddit thread we pulled up during a stream while talking about FFXI... Edit: Found the thread: www.reddit.com/r/ffxi/comments/dypje1/have_they_ever_clarified_how_galka_reproduce/

FF5 inspired? That concept art makes me think of the FF5 appearance of Ronka. But... Ronka was on the first. Unless... Scree.

There were also Ronkan ruins underneath crescent Island in FFV
