I’m a big fan of these Spearhead battle reports… find them way more engaging and interesting than a 2-3 hour video for 2k battles

Great match as always!! Loving this tournament so far! I feel that killing units that can come back is worse than killing them, maybe the best is to weaken them and then retreat

Should Impenetrable Ranks be once per game only? I ask as I’m learning the rules to try ossiarchs myself and can’t understand how they can do it every turn?

Are there any guidelines on the terrain sizes? Your choices really take up a big chunk of the small board.

In the rules they write 2 small and 2 big pieces. And as example they use the Skaventide terrain. But from an optical point of view I really like this terrain more!

Great BR again! Really love your battle reports, very clear, great camera work and well cut. Good balance between speed and overview of the game. Fyreslayers seemed quite unlucky with some dmg, and OBR very strong with the saves, although I think they also had a lot of lucky rolls there.

@@SeasonofWar it’s the two small lights on the edge of spearhead boards. Love the colours but for me they add a bit too much bright glare. That’s just me though so not sure if it bothers anyone else

@@jamie6091 I get you - appreciate the feedback! We've actually turned the brightness of the lights down since recording this game, so hopefully that lessens the glare in future videos!

Fantastic battle report! Quick note: I am fairly certain "Impenetrable Ranks" is once per battle. Completely understandable with all these different Spearheads

Hey guys, genuinely love your content and I watch all of it as it comes up. I'm a member, not just a subscriber, so please don't take this as anything other than as it is intended to be: constructive criticism. You use the phrase "jump into" a lot, and especially with the editing cuts it gets rather pronounced. In the span of 20 seconds, "Let's Jump into Ossiarch Turn 1," ""with that we'll jump into the hero phase," "Alright, jumping into the hero phase." After casting spells we then "jumped into movement." It's a small quibble, but I'd recommend breaking it up a little bit with some other terms.

This isn't literature or an exercise in composition - the intent, whether deliberate or otherwise, is to communicate in the way that people generally do in conversation, and most people use a lot of repetition in their everyday speech.

Completely fair point and well put. I haven’t noticed it as much as you have but I hear them using “head in to” and “we will go to” as well as “jump in to” so I don’t think it’s as bad as you might think

I am building ossiarch bonereapers for spearhead, i was wondering If anyone knows am I able to build my mortek guard with swords? I can only see rules for their spears in the spearhead download off wowcommunity

I built mine with swords. Granted I have 60 in my main army so I have 40 swords and 20 spears but I attempted to paint the spears the fire-cinder looking bonereapers and I just can’t stand to look at them.. but regardless I use the swords and if I’m not mistaken in the fire and jade book it shows the mortek guard having only 1” combat range which would be swords. You can build the models however you want and just use the combat profile it says to use. I prefer using the swords over the spears except for one little phalanx wall in larger games.
