PLEASE MORE AOS! My own interest in AOS aside, I feel like Age of Sigmar 4th Edition is being really well recieved everywhere and it feels like the game itself has a LOT of momentum in terms of peoples interest. Plus Spearhead looks like SUCH a fun game format! Might use it to try and get my friends into the hobby!

My only real criticism so far is the MASSIVE model and faction dump they did. Otherwise, I will admit this edition seems to run smoothly. I am curious how things will proceed further. Also if we get new models/units what they will curtail. Kinda hoping we get a plastic dreadsaurian for the Seraphon.

@@stephenjenkins7971 Agreed. They are a popular faction within the AoS community and regularly show up in tournaments. Plus they have some of the best rulebooks flavor wise. Not to mention are a great contrast to the Seraphon. Why GW never fully embraced them is beyond me. Last edition they did BoC dirty with all the hype they were doing for them making people think they were going to get new characters and all we got was a beast lord re-sculpt.

@@redwillow1853 Issue is more GW's obssession with not double dipping in different game systems. Beastmen could either be in AoS or TOW, but not both. Since Beastmen didn't get their update yet, it seems TOW got them. It must've been a last second decision, since the AoS team was building them up well.

@@stephenjenkins7971 Either way their handling of the situation was trash. Hyping an army you plan to remove is cheeky at best, scummy at worst. Hopefully they learned their lesson and will do better in the future.

I’m think you can make a comeback in 40k on points but once your army has a real bad turn, it tends to be a snowball effect not a back and forth.

​@@Alpharius2479the full game is not designed for that type game play. The 3 cards that you draw in Spear Head is what makes each match so tightly knit.

The "comeback" was the turn three swing round that happens very often in 40k

I can do a sudo tutorial. Basically, instead of choosing battle tactikz (sorry my inner kruleboyz took over), you each draw 3 from a special “spearhead” pile of bt cards. You can choose to not try to score the tactics, but instead use there respective command ability. for more info, read the aos official site, they have it all written down.

This was so fun to watch! Acting and fooling around makes me laugh and cheer for your miniatures. Much less serious than those "mechanic" 40k battles where just numbers are thrown around and it feels like watching a math exam. And of course, more AOS please !!!

Hate to be the one to point out mistakes in an old video, but Eye of the Gods (the ability that gives the chaos blessings) only triggers at end of turn if a unit destroys an enemy unit, or is contesting an objective not controlled by your opponent and isn’t in combat.

You videos are very good, but as a new player I would love if you showed the stats of the units you are attacking and defending with + showing a simple overview where you are in the turn sequence - this way new players can better learn whats going on in the game and it will be more engaging. When using abilities, you could show the text, especially for spells and combat abilities.

How was Stephen able to bring back some of his fallen units, is that a special rule in Spearhead? Also noticed he wasn’t using all of the models in the Skaventide box. I thought each half of the box was a Spearhead army??

Yes reinforcement rule. Some units can get back once at half effectif. (Part of the reason it's kinda balanced even with different point value)

Yup, spearhead rule specifically. The Slaves to Darkness rule helps them to get better as the game goes on, but only with one tactic can they ever bring something back.
