EDIT: There are actually two variants of the transparant red & blue 2DS. One version features grey ABXY buttons, while the other has SNES coloured ABXY buttons... So please ignore my comment about the transparent red system not having SNES coloured buttons. Cheers,

If I recall, there were two sets of the transparent Pokemon 2DS systems. There was a red and blue set for Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphhire that had grey buttons. Then one set for red/blue/green/yellow and they all had the SNES coloured buttons so I think you just mixed up the photos for them

i think the SNES color pallet buttons on the Pokemon themed ones actually represent the first four games, Pokemon Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow.

That does make some sense for the transparant systems but still doesnt really tie into the Sun & Moon games
