Love my rockered setup. Nothing like a new setup to bring some excitement back to your skating. I find it hard to go back to a flat setup. I feel glued to the floor when trying to maneuver. I try and turn one way and my skates just want to go straight.

I have a pair of rockered fr1's, not a rockered frame but a 76/80/80/76 banana rocker, and yes they're definitely flaky on fast straights, but sooo responsive in twists and turns they are fun.. This vid makes me want to roll them again. I'm a bit nervous on jumps and especially jumped transitions on the rockered skates, but I've been skating Wizards (NR100) lately and they have given me some confidence on transitions. Very different skates, and the frame length of the wizard skate gives it SO much stability, but I found that new skills learned on different skates do transfer.

Started skating after a twenty year break. Never felt more free. Thanks. My routine now includes solid carves and jumps. Not bad for self taught and only starting a two weeks ago. My down town area has been accommodating. I enjoy your videos and very much enjoyed getting something back in my life I'd been missing. If I were to ask anything maybe best wheel hardness for various skate styles? And or is your area any better people wise than the ignorance in the states or is there no hope of escaping the ignorance of the public. Ahh with the wax you're encountering at the rink, if its candle wax then "Sliders" as they're called in Barcelona use candle wax to help make their slides longer. BTW way, helluva video to do in full rockered skates. Whoa.

These look a lot like Seba High Light carbons.

These Skates are made at the exact same factory as SEBA so as the rest of Micro DELTA line. (Delta Junior,Delta F and Delta )

They're Seba iGors and FR SLs with different makeup. The Seba High light has a plastic cuff instead of a carbon cuff but aside this detail, Micro Delta F is a copy of the aforementioned with different color and and some adjustments on some other details for design looks.

The Lino move doesn't feel right to me. Specially for a guy who's so outspoken about OUR moral obligations towards the industry (Salomon video..?), our public impact on kids' and outsiders' perception of our sport (criticizing people's "not cool" clothing because kids won't look up to us (while he dresses...ahem...🙄), insisting on everyone to wear protection while he uses just a helmet... the few times he does... And then he gets bought by a company that's rising from a sucker punch rip-off of a smaller company that is indeed invested and focused in our sport. Shady stuff... Not surprising at all that Trinity mounting was the frigging bomb a year ago but now it's in his limbo. I'm not happy either about other public skaters getting actively verbally involved in the controversy, on the big company's side of course, after being given their free pair of Micros. Yes everyone needs to eat, I get that, believe me (I'm poor and unemployed and rocking a pair from decathlon myself, though slowly getting them upgraded with proper skating companies stuff), but, if you're doing that, at least get off the high horse I guess... You can sell us the company that pays your checks, but at least don't pretend to be impartial and unbiased, and please don't try to guilt trip us about damaging the industry if you yourself act like this. Cause your impact might be way bigger than any of ours. I trust any Bill's review or opinion on a skate, because he skates them, and because he's not married to any brand. I love Ricardo Lino, I love his videos and his vibes and his family and all, he's one of my favorite skaters out there. But this whole thing feels wrong.

I only rocked my front wheel by 3mm & that helps with the rough spots, but I can still balance normal in my strides. Seems scary to city skate with that set up! Hockey or slalom/freestyle only!

Found this thoroughly entertaining, Bill, I do like the peeled back approach. These Micros appear very ‘busy’ indeed! I agree with your view on the youth, the whole idea astounds me. Kids learn from parents yet parents stand around the edges of play parks watching their kids play; what are we teaching them? It’s as if people are terrified to be seen looking happy or silly or to be having a good time. Not me, life’s too freakin’ short.

Loving the speech about how society looks at adults (and yes, kids too!😰) just playing out without a "proper" context. It really is sad. I've thought similarly for years. I've always loved to just run (like Phoebe from Friends when she embarrasses Rachel), not jogging, not "running" with all your equipment and your expensive lycra clothes: just running like a kid for the pure joy of it! 😃😊 People stares at me, but I'm already the weird skating older lady in my neighborhood, so that's ok with me. I'm happy when doing those things, are they though..? (I have a beautiful picture of my late dad, on his mid to late 60s, climbing a tree just because ☺️ My mom was livid... But he KNEW.)

Nice skates! Tiago skates rockered all the time. Now maybe you will too! I tell myself I should skate rockered more because it's harder and would develop my balance more. But the stability of flat is nice for speed and landing jumps. I like when wheels wear down and a natural rocker develops.
