I’ve been avoiding watching this for a so long. I have an 85 Moss Green Metallic and I did not want to be jealous of how stunningly beautiful you’d detail this car. Alas, I couldn’t resist any longer. I LOVE the results of your work. Absolute masterpiece of a car and you made it nearly perfect. Great work. Thanks for the video. Cheers

Beautiful car, 3.2 is often completely overlooked in favor of the turbo variants of the era, and a PTS example brought back to this level just solidifies the worth of these cars. The color just POPS now, really happy you decided to make a video on this car!

First, let me say you guys have done some incredible work on some very rare and beautiful cars. On this video there's no model year mentioned but it looks to me like a 3.2 Carrera not a 930. The big giveaway is the lack of big flares and wheels. You could get the normal 911 in the turbo look but you couldn't get the turbo in the normal 911 look.

For the bit where you cleaned the spare wheel area try using a clothing stain remover like resolve. I used it plenty of times on out sprinters and heavy trucks👍 best ive seen at removing stubborn grease and stains. Wouldn't use it on leathers or rubbers but on cheap plastics or metal bits like that it should shred through everything.

It's equipped with the early 930 whale tail but that's it. Just my opinion but I think it looks cleaner without the tail. But as they say, you pays your money and you takes your choice 😁

@@johngidman4574 John, could you explain why this wouldn't be considered a 930? It has the same bumpers as the 930, engine, whale tail, interior... what am I missing? Is this not a 930??

Still loving your videos. Still love how your crew has the energy day after day to do these exhaustive detailing jobs. I've asked before, but never got an answer. Does your crew using microfiber polishing pads depend on what the paint meter returns or do you use them on most paint defects that have a visual appearance that warrants it? For instance, do you always use them on spiderweb defects that you can visually see or is it all the paint meter that determines the pad used?
@IAMDetailing Жыл бұрын
Hey Adrian, thank you for your love and support 🙏🏽 glad to hear you love our work. About your question, it always depends on situation and thickness of the paint… sometimes we using foam pads (medium/soft) for removing spiderwebs, sometimes more hard foam (rarely) and also sometimes wool. But most of the time we using microfiber pads for removing those swirls, etc.
