I got lucky and 8x scope on my uv3xl is clear with my 1/8 peep sight but I think imma pick this up so I can add the other half of the lense set up to get better zoom and clarity

I fail to see how the “Center String Technology” differs from any of the other similar peeps? I have tried to find more specifics on it and cannot. I have shot a hamskea insight for several years and have never had troubles with left and right impacts

Once you clip the clarifier in, how do you get it out? It popped into the peep with force. Doesn’t look like it’s coming out without a tool. If I was on the course and needed to change peep sizes, unless I buy multiple clarifiers in the same size, you won’t be able to change it.

It comes out easily with your finger. There is a ledge you can get hold of under the lens and between the ears. The force was more because I didn't have the aperture directly on top of the lens. I came at it a bit from the side.

Also......I don't know about you, but when I change peep sizes, I need a different clarifier to keep my sight picture and pin sharp. I don't use the same clarifier for every aperture..

Could this be used for hunting if u didn’t run a clarifier? Would like to use one peep on my phase 4 for hunting/target and just change aperture sizes.

I ended up going with the podium kit from specialty just because the 1/8 was just a little too small for me for hunting but I’m using the podium kit and I love it. Am using the 5/32 for hunting and the 3/32 for target

It gets tied into the bowstring so it won’t move until or down, let alone come out

What makes it different from the podium peep, just shorter and lighter?

Looks like nothing. I'm guessing PXS means Podium Extra Small. But those couple grains really don't matter in the first place. I've always used the Hamskea Insight, and the weight has never mattered.

What makes it different is the capture system. With the podium, the lens is free floating. And sometimes they stick after they are seated and you need a Q-tip to push them out. With the PXS, the lens comes out with the aperture.

How easy are the lenses removed from the housing?

I assume you just open up the clip and it falls out. Although I feel like that's gonna break.

Easy. You can get your finger under the lens between the ears and it comes right out. Nothing breaks.
