I like heavy metal but after hearing this song I went online and bought every Martina McBride cd I could find. I bought cd's because im an old guy. I had a similar reaction to you when I first heard this. Martina is just simply brilliant. Its a crying shame she hardly known here in the UK. Martina has been my favorite singer since the mid 90's when I first heard her and saw her in concert. I've seen her live several times and she has the best live voice I've ever heard along with Brandi Carlile. Both their live albums are obviously fantastic. My other favorite live performance of Martina's is at the 1999 ACM Awards when she sang "Whatever You Say". I'll never forget a short time after her performance Faith Hill won Single of the Year and while accepting her award she commented about how she was still recovering from Martina's performance and how she was blown away and looked out at Martina in the audience and told her that she was her favorite singer.
