Really loved the three Sultan video's. After three days of fun with them the only thing bleeding were my fingers and my brain because of remembering the 24 licks and 2 solo's. I never considered them playable for me, but you made them so. Thank you so much for that.

Thanks for the three great lessons on another one I never thought I'd be able to play! Little story on this one... my dad played country guitar & fiddle and had more music in his little finger than I have in my whole body. He actually learned to play fiddle overnight by his dad whistling to him because the regular guy quit and they had a live radio gig the next day! No pressure. Anyway, he could appreciate a lot of things I listened to, like Zeppelin, on a musical level. But this song was one he'd always turn up when it came on the radio. He was really into Chet Atkins and this one maybe brought that to mind. So I finally learned all these licks for my dad.
@SpedSpedding Жыл бұрын
Such a wonderful story and I’m so glad that I could be the one to take you through the licks. I’m sure your Dad would be honoured with your efforts and super proud. Your constant support is very much appreciated. ❤️🔥

Hi Sped, trust you're well.. As a Knopfler/ Dire Straits nut from as far back as 1980, I would just say what an amazing job you've done interpreting /teaching all the guitar parts to this Song ! .. it's an absolute credit to you !.. But a request, Sir.. Could you please teach "Tunnel Of Love "" ??.. It's my favourite Dire Straits Song, but I find the licks in it to be equally challenging to Sultans, if not more so ? .. I just know you're the Man for this job, and hopefully you're up for it !.. Kind regards, Grant from Oz.. :)
