Here is a scene that was absolutely brilliantly made exciting in editing. The power of editing is phenomenal. Look at the way they repeated the snap from different angles and created visual rhythm along with the building rhythm of the sound effects (which are awesome). It was subtle yet smart to drop the music here. Look at the way they stretched out the very end with it skidding on its side down the street. It could have just been the one shot , yet - it picks up wide from the side. Then picks up extremely close from the front. Then close OTS. Then back to the first shot which was either split in half or two similar takes….and it works! You’re almost sorry that it stops once it finally does. That’s great editing. That’s an epic summer movie experience - and it was. I remember. I was 4 when we saw it on the big screen back in ‘94. Nothing has topped that since - and this scene truly elevated the movie beyond just great. 👏🏽

@@stewartmatthews1551 Oh yes, absolutely, he is good these days. he actually drives and stuff now, he can't work a job, but he is good. I'm not autistic, but suffered many childhood traumas which caused me to have DID (dissociative identity disorder) which causes the brain to make partitions like a computer hard drive, luckily most of the bad stuff is blocked out like a defense mechanism in my brain, but occasionally i black out and negativity happens, have lost a lot of friends, but i think of it as my disorder is eliminating the people who make me feel bad as part of the defense mechanism, idk if it is a blessing or a curse, lol, all i know is im smiling and im happy
