Omg, I left my purse at a church we visited and they opened it to find out who it belonged to. They thought it was a child's purse and one lady told me "I remember what it was like when I had kids and they gave me all their stuff to hold for them." I didn't tell them all those things were actually mine.

I would have been mortified to have a clear backpack in middle school/highschool! I get why they think it's a good idea, but my thought is where there's a will there's a way. If someone has ill intent, a clear backpack rule won't stop them :(

Hey, I’m happy to see you back to being yourself. I think the book had you all stressed out. I really do believe you are a magical creature. Your videos keep us going. My house is still in bad shape but because of you. I am steady plugging trying to get my house decluttered. I’ve been on a roll lately at least steady working at it. My dr sent me to physical therapy that consists of water aerobics so finally I can see improvements in my mobility and seeing areas of my house that have been hidden by clutter. A lot of the stuff is antiques that I’ve been giving to different family members. Of course they are relics from my family that has passed away and those things are the hardest to part with. But thanks to your pep talks and videos things are changing. I’ve been on. I have been on my husband begging for a Roomba. I have seen several on sale but he tells me to keep getting stuff out of the house and he will think about it. If I happened to win one he can’t say no to that. Last year I begged for a Dyson stick vacuum which he did get for me so that’s been the hold up. How well does your mopping Roomba work. That one is on my list also. We had the basket to catch the mess and I had to get rid of it, no one would ever clean it out so it would just spill out of the basket and onto the table until I finally went trough it and found stuff that should have gone straight into the garbage. Things like brochures for restaurants we don't go to. Now everyone has their own basket so they can't pass the blame to someone else. (Ps I live with 2 other adults)

Unfortunately, probably not. Criminals get them anyway and many of the shooters use someone else's guns. I don't agree with them but it just seems to be the case. I don't own a gun myself.

I LOVE YOUR t-shirt! I always feel better when my bed is made, wish I had a dishwasher though. If someone wants to hide a gun that won't stop them. It punishes the innocent. So glad we have strict gun laws in Australia, very upsetting when mass school shootings in America r on the news.

Okay, so I do love to clean. Why? Because no one bothers me when I'm cleaning. No one we wants to be assigned a chore so no one comes near 😂. This feeds my introverted soul. And I love to step back and look at how clean and organized everything is even it only lasts an hour 🤗. But Cass, I'm nothing like you described, no PTA volunteerin', muffin bakin' mom here. Clear back packs and mesh back packs have been used for years in different schools, girls are still allowed to use a purse for any personal care items they needed. I personally am not a fan of clear back packs. I would rather the students pass through a metal detector entry point. Thanks for the tips and the chance to win a robot vacuum.

I’m still laughing at the teeth, me also being a donkey with crooked unicorn horn decided I didn’t want acrylic nails on anymore and picked them off one by one. Dude “bob” must be old school. I remember my mom used to work at sears (jewelry counter) and she had to bring a clear purse to work for security reasons (I assume so they could see if she was stealing jewelry). But this idea is legit crazy for teenagers. How awful- that is not a solution. Metal detectors would be one option... I can also think of a few more 🧐🎉🎉❤️

I agree, metal detectors are a better option than clear backpacks. Besides the privacy issue, a kid could just roll up a gun in his jacket & stuff it in the clear backpack. Guess they didn't really think it thru.

Hahahaha “crap” basket. I love it! 😆 I am indifferent on the clear backpacks. I had to have one when I was in High School over 20 + years ago. As far as sanitary napkins and tampons go, we were still allowed to carry a purse to hide those types of things. All the clear backpacks are for is to safe guard other people’s lives. We also had campus police too. It was a pain to find the clear backpacks and expensive every year for school. When I was 18, I withdrew myself out of that school and enrolled somewhere else to finish out my Senior year of high school.

I would love to use essential oils anywhere in the house, but it is so frustrating because essential oils on the floor (or in the air) are really bad for cats (I know yours have passed on though :-( and not great for dogs either. The build up in their vital organs will kill a cat, just like lily poisoning. Humph. :-(

I do not intend in any way to be unkind in this post. I am going to state some facts about where I live. I'm in Australia. We aren't allowed to have guns here without a licence and without a farm or gun club membership. We aren't allowed to buy semi-automatic nor automatic weapons even with a gun licence. The guns we have access to with licences make it difficult to put down cattle or horses. I live on a farm. But that's okay because it means we only have the occasional human shooting, mostly of criminals against criminals. Never a loss. It took us one massive massacre of people of all ages at a historical site in the 90s for us to realise that the mentally ill and under aged should not have access to guns. Guess how many school shootings we have. It's okay, I'm being rhetorical in case you aren't aware. But I'll give you the answer in case it isn't clear: we don't have school shootings. And everyone is happy. I don't like politics. And I don't have to resort to name calling to make my point. I also don't intend to breed because I hate humans, due to 95% of them being ignorant and cruel to each other and animal kind. Bye bye. Blocked.

I graduated in 1992. There were a lot of knives that were being sneaked into the schools way before metal detectors. Clear backpacks were huge then.

I have twin 16 month old girls and keeping my floors dirt free is super important to me. We have two dogs and I hate thinking my floors have dirt etc when my little ones are walking/ crawling around.
