Nice review, seat heights always been my worry but so tempted to go for the 950. The fact you’ve kept yours 3 yrs gives me the nod over the 698. I’ve a CRF250L and a 797 Monster so one or both might have to go 👍

Hey bro! I’m 196 cm, around 16 stone. Also ride a 15 diavel… Would this bike be okay for me? Been researching nonstop and the Mono seems like a great fun bike to own. Just worried about ergonomics and my own weight on a bike that seems to usually carry people who are on the lighter side…

Might need a bit of adjustment - maybe some stiffer springs, but ergonomics wise it be ok

I rode the RVE, had QS&AB and it was a dream! Felt like it needed a steering damper but with the full termi exhaust, it sounded the part!

I ended up turning up the adjuster on the fly on Kals Sp when I was riding it.. 💯 damper needed the bike is lively but in a real DREAMY controllable way.. Rve look great 👍🏾

yr mate is so spot on and so all of us who discover sumo after racebikes . more fun per mile and nothing matters because you can fix a lot midcorner even ) . your 950 is one of the best lookers eve seen . what tires you got on the mono , and happy with it ? i just bought a pair of conti sm 2 evos , suposed to be very good for sm

Cheers mate… the 698 is running the standard Rosso 4’s from stock and once you drop the psi a little they are great 👍🏻👍🏻

I’m not too fussed on all the electronic aids and bigger screen but there’s plenty of people that will be. KTM’s only competition is themselves. Husky and GasGas.

Went to Ducati yesterday , still waiting on there demo to come in , they keep selling there demos that come in that's the problem , someone paid a stupid price above retail price so they didn't have to wait. After watching this and the previous videos I'm thoroughly convinced I'm trading my motorcycle's in for the standard 698, I just want to ride the demo so I can ride it, I talked to Ducati about the quickshifter and the Termignoni exhaust they said they said include the pay for the installation fees if I bought them. With the Termignoni exhaust being overpriced do you think its worth it?

The quickshifter 100% get it. If the Termi price from the dealer includes installation and the flash and the wheelie control upgrade and warranty then for peace of mind (and you can fund it) then yeah - add them as options to the standard one 👍🏻. Thanks for watching 🤛🏼🤛🏼

Tight twisty roads you are better off with a motard. I've even had fun on a 650 Burgman scooter riding very tight twisty roads, and I laughed my ass off. You need a track or longer more open flowy roads for a sportbike to make more sense. On the street however it doesn't matter what's fastest, because that depends so much on the rider and you quickly reach the limit of what's reasonably safe on the streets. So wether you're on a GS or an M1000RR it doesn't make much of a difference in the real world. Scraping knees and what not on the streets is just not worth it in my eyes. I know some always got to go one step further, and personally I'd rather do that on the track given how much safer it is.

100%… I do the fast stuff on the track where its much safer, and I love these street bikes where its just fun at more normal speeds. I can’t wheelie or get my knee down and don’t care - because I’m laughing my ass off 😂
