I’m not denying popovic at all. But the dude only goes fast when he’s in clean water, at the euros, and dominating. He has yet to show it internationally. I hope he does well this summer though! He should win the 200 free if he’s on.

@@cameronglover7261 ur right but the atmosphere is completely different at the OGs. Bigger stage, lots of adrenaline, more drama. There have been big names who won in WCs but lost in the OGs the year after, so lets wait and see

If dressel did last 15 no breath instead of 10 like he usually does (or used to at least) he would've got 2nd for sure

Lilly should focus on reducing drug cost than becoming a sponsor of an an entire Olympic sport trial. Drugs should be to used help people, not enrich yourself for a Buggati or G800

US wont be winning the 100m free individual event, but if u know anything about swimming, the level these guys are competing at the Trials is nowhere to be seen in any other country. Try giving me another country where the top 6 dudes all go 47. They're definitely still the favorite for the 4x100m free relay, according to historic stats, US swimmers would be able to swim faster in the actual Olympics by quite a margin, so yes they are always the team that is closest to the WR pace (relay), and they sure will give it a shot in Paris. Only Australia or France has a chance challenging for gold, its not going to be Romania, GB, or China. Mark my words.

100 free 🥇 goes to Pan, 70%, if not for sure. Popovici 🥈. All the rest r vying for 🥉.

Popovici's performance on the big stages like the OG is still a bit of a question, back in 2021 he was the top 3 fastest going into Tokyo, but ended up swimming 48 and only 6th in the final, but yes i do agree with u that he has a chance to win in Paris.
@lucienma46383 ай бұрын
@@Anthony-n5t Popovici has a slender build, so does Pan. This would disadvantage both in a foreseeable dogfight last 15m in the Paris final. So long as Popovici could manage to swim as a frontrunner in the first half, he may enlarge his chance onto the podium.
@Anthony-n5t3 ай бұрын
@@lucienma4638 Popo has the fastest back half split in the field, just go look for the stats and you'll know im telling the truth. As a reminder, Ning Zetao also won in the WCs in 2015 with an impressive time, but he ended up nowhere to be seen the following yr in Rio, so whether Pan can win, still hard to tell.
