Is that several large rust spots I see on the top rim of the Speed Queen inner tub? On what I assume is an unused machine? Makes me a bit nervous to see that, since I have a 3 week old TC5. One of the main reasons I chose it was the steel outer tub, and real stainless steel inner tub.

We can completely understand that position! There is currently a $150 rebate on our TC5/DC5 pair that may be able to help! This rebate is available for the set when purchased from September 28th 2023 - November 8th 2023!

ever change a bearing & tub seal on one of those metal speed queens ( after 4 or 5 short years they leak ).. yeee haw, NOT a fun time. especially if all the metal components are seized to one another

@@mackfar27 I completely agree. They should have arms that blast walls of water everywhere. They should also have the perfect cycle which runs off of sensors that actually work.

The washer is amazing however, I would wait to buy until they have a bigger unit available because it's still quite small for a big family.

While our 3.2 cu. ft. tub does seem a little smaller than others, there is suprisingly more capacity than most expect since the tub fills with more water (to the top!). This way, you can use the entire tub vs only filling it part way. Its comparable to other brands 4.5 cu. ft. HE washers. 🤩
