Galactic Adventures to me is of the rare cases where the dlc is better, and has more content than the base game. I used to spend countless hours making unique worlds and playing all the great player-made missions out there. You haven't experienced spore without it.

@@dinobro4273 These days, I rarely see dlc get rave reviews and its usually recycled content or just not worth the money, GA took a frankly meh game, and redeemed it into an outlet of true creativity, almost changing genres from a god sim to something more like Dreams or Minecraft which allows you to make your own worlds and stories.

Valence outputs so many QoL details in these spore videos that just elevates them to a higher level. A brief history and background of the adventure, showing step by step the intended route and explaining upcoming tricks, and manually making subtitles even though his speech is calm and clear. Just a enjoyable experience all around, and I will be sticking around for a long time to follow your continuted progress! Thank you for your effort and dedication, it shows.

Does anyone else think that this Galactic Adventure and Presidential Battle Royale in Dungeon Defenders disgusting? I played it recently when I finally registered my copy of Spore. Because of this adventure's poor asset management, I had Obamas flying everywhere in Space Stage. I deleted it and I wish it was never made.

This was a common problem just as Galactic Adventures released, lots of props popping everywhere in common gameplay. Maxis later released a special tag, "gaprop", so any creations with that tag wouldn't be selected to appear in a normal game. But older ones don't have it, so they still can appear, which can be quite annoying.

I found 35 "unofficial" Maxis employee adventures in addition to the 28 DLC adventures I showed in this video that I considered official. Some of them are good, most of them are.. interesting. I think it could be fun to show them, at least the history! These are the ones made by "MaxisCactus," "MaxisMiller,," and others.

The adventures can be downloaded by logging into a Spore account and subscribing to Sporecasts on Spore.com with the adventures in them is the easiest way. The galaxy download I provided has them all included so they can be played without needing to log in. I'm not sure what EA app there is if that's an Origin thing, I always play on Steam :)

They can all be played from the main menu by selecting them individually if they are all installed in your game. The galaxy file I linked in the description has them included as well.

how do i move the pollination package with the dlc adventures into my galaxy? i want to play them but i don't want to replace the galaxy

I worked on this a lot and couldn't find a perfect solution. I worked with the modding community as well to try to extract out the original PNGs out from the pollination package but the PNGs seem really bundled in there in a way that it didn't seem possible. Best thing I can think of currently is to just replace the pollination package but leave everything else in that Spore folder alone. The Games folder in that Spore folder contain the saved games in the galaxy and the EditorSaves package should keep everything that's needed for your saved games. Replacing the pollination will reset achievements and anything else you downloaded but will get the adventures but should hopefully keep your current saves intact. Since making this videos I've found there are programs to directly download must adventure's PNGs to drop them into the game which would be the best solution but don't work for every adventure if you don't have a Spore account. With a Spore account it's really easy to get all the adventures yourself without needing my pollination file! :)

Yeah the saved games are tied to the galaxy file, so replacing the galaxy it will reset all of the saved games unfortunately. However, the adventures are also in the Pollination file, so if you only replace that, the saves will still be there but all previously downloaded creations will be replaced instead. I haven't figured out a way to seamlessly combine them except to download the adventures separately if you had your own Spore account.

Yes, the adventures when downloaded are bundled into the Pollination.package folder within the galaxy file and that can be taken separately and replaced in your own galaxy if you want to get the adventures from me. I provided the whole galaxy which may be easier for some to replace the whole thing. But the adventures can still be downloaded if you have a Spore account and subscribe to Sporecasts that contain the adventures if you want them directly from Spore :)

It prompts you to sign in or create an account when Spore launches. The important part to know is you need a CD to register. Steam doesn't provide CD keys anymore so Origin or GOG are your best bets :)
