Speedsculpting "Alien" scene within 3D Coat and Marmoset

Picked screenshot from my favourite movie "Alien" and tried to replicate it using 3D Coat and Marmoset as a homework for Week6 "Designing the Shot" Intro to 3D Concept Design Jama Jurabaev and Anthony Jones.

3d coat is amazing and truly the underdog of the 3d industry software, i switch from 3ds max to blender and i have completed my pipeline with 3d coat and when you know 3d coat well you can have blazing fast productivity. Very talented artist there and kudos for having decent music background instead of annoying modern music.

so fantastic!!! would love to see a tutorial on the 3d coat aspects in real time. Been trying to follow but moving to fast. I especially tried hard to follow bulging the space suit with transform tool but I did not get the same result. I did better using the voxel layer mode. A tutorial would be so cool. Still amazing work.

Оч здорово) на 11:50 ты использовал шум на сером слое, потом сделал его прозрачным на 27%. Объясни почему так, ведь по сути былобы лучше скопировать все предыдущие слои, объединить их и потом уже добавить шум. Или я чтот упускаю? PS просто самому интересно как добиваться "синиматик" эффекта на заключительных этапах рисования, вот и зацепился глаз

Спасибо, если есть возможность не объединять слои, я не сливаю их, так остается всегда возможность исправить то, что снизу. Добавить или уменьшить шум в зависимости от прозрачности слоя.

Я немного коряво изъяснился, я имел ввиду скопировать слои и потом их объединить. Получится что изображение будет идентично нижним слоям.
