There's one method you can do on any level with a freezeray, a small object, and a caveman. The caveman has to be agro and running, the object (rock, skull, arrow, etc) has to be next to the shopkeeper. Freeze the shopkeeper, and wait for the caveman to trip on the object, this will kill the frozen shopkeeper without adding any sin.

Alright, glad I chucked both videos because there's still another method you missed I can share! In a similar vein to how horned lizards can hurt a shopkeeper and make them retaliate with a shot, cavemen can too. If you can bring a caveman to a shop and put a small item like a rock in front of the keeper, getting the caveman to charge will have him trip over the rock and as he falls he hurts the shopkeeper. Additional note, if a shopkeeper shoots a pressent they're selling it'll open it and you can take the contents for free!

A niche one I found recently by accident, in the jungle if you can manage to get a giant spider into the shop it can kill him and you can take everything

very situational but if you have a freeze ray and the shop is very close to the exit, you can freeze the shopkeep and exit the level before he thaws and he wont blame you, has no use really aside from getting equipment or a freeze ray if you didnt already have one but its worth noting

Much stronger trick in co-op though; Where a player can sit in the shop and keep them repeatedly frozen.

Another way: find a shop with explosive items. find a horned lizard and put in in the entrance. make the lizard roll into the shopkeeper making him shoot the explosives and killing himself.
