i always get excited when i hear the level crossing bells because it means that i can cross the street when traffic is heavy!

Wow three generations of locomotives on one train. A modern GE p32-42DC built in the mid 90’s, GE B40-8 build in the mid to late 80’s, and an EMD F-40 PH built in the early to mid 70’s!

So much for not exceeding 20MPH over public road crossing when you don't have ditch lights.

Don't rat the poor guy out. Decert on his FRA license and mandatory 60 days off for exceeding max authorized speed by more than 10 mph. In this case it's 20 without ditch lights, so....

Years late but the train is just leaving L.A in that first scene, there's a track curve ahead as well as that area not really being suitable for high speed since all trains are going over bridges and curves and slowing down to enther L.A Union Station

Awesome American Trains When the train arrives in the Last stop (Los Angeles) the train backs into the Yard then over night the engines uncouple. Then 2 other engines come and hook up to the back of the train the engines facing Seattle. Then the train backs into the station and Goes to Seattle. Same thing in Seattle.
