Just finished up "Spring Clean-up 2" after our recent snow(water) storm here in Central NY. Wettest snow I've ever seen in my 75 years on this earth. Sticks and limbs everywhere on my 2 acers of lawn. Had to rake and blow all of it(lots of trees) Actually got to mow a little this past weekend. Felt good to ditch the rake and ride the mower. Thinking of your friend and his family. Keep on mowing!!

When I was about 16 I worked part-time for a farm lady. The grass along side the drive had gotten tall like about 3 to 4 feet high. I had run out of the work that needed done in the house so she asked if I would mow the grass. I said sure. She got me a push mower and showed me where it needed mowing. The tall grass. I managed it taking no more than a six inch strip each pass. I actually had fun. When I was done she came out looked it over and paid me extra for doing that part of the job.

I love watching you shows. I have watched mowing last year and snow plowing this winter. Wish you could send all the extra rain and snow. We have not had moisture over.. .10 a day in 190 days. Today we had what we have been seeing lately. 60 to 70 mph wind gust. Steady wind about 20 to 30 miles per hour

I wish we had grass like you guys have up there. In Texas we just have Bermuda and Zoysia with a lot of weeds lol. When y’all say you cut at 4/5 inch i just laugh bc i havnt mowed at more than 2.5in in years. Striping is a thing but it only lasts for a few days i feel.
