When doing masking stripes, if you put a second and then third directly adjacent, you pull up the second and have the lines be perfectly parallel!

Thanks! That’s definitely the biggest upside to using a can. It means you’ve got a nice flat surface to paint on and then you can shape it really easily when you’re done!

The ends of the flag (two points) are called swallowtails. The flag is called a triangle swallowtail pennant. I use wide rubber bands as my flags. No risk of sharp edges and they wave in the wind. Good job love the content

How durable are the flags the way you have glued them onto the pole

About as durable as any of the rest of a Warhammer model

I'm definitely using this as a guide for my redemptor. Although I would probably use multiple cutouts of the can to form the flag and glue them together. I have the feeling that even with the paint and all, it's still too bendy. How have the flags hold on until now?

Love it chap!! How small would you go with this?? I'm trying to do a large purity seal type 'list' I've tried green stuff, move to paper and card, now I see this I wonder if it would work... (Talking about 5-7mm wide about 40-50mm long...?

These are really cool and all but how long is their life span? Will they brake easily or chip paint?
