Ingredients :
4 Tbs Olive Oil
2 Tsp Vegan Butter
1 Medium Sized White Onion
4 Cloves of Garlic
1 Tsp Pilau Masala
1 Tsp Thyme
1 Bunch of Coriander
2 Tbs Organic Tomato Paste
1 Large Potato
1 Can of Chickpeas
2 Cups of Bulgar
4 Cups of Vegetable Bouillon
Method:
- Peel, Wash and Slice the Onion
- Wash and Slice/Chop the Coriander
- Peel, Wash and Dice the Potato
- Heat the pan/wok and add 4 Tbs of Olive Oil
- Sauté the Onions, let them almost turn brown
- Add the Garlic
- Then add the Pilau Masala Spice (Consists of - Pure Natural Cumin Seeds, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Cardamoms and Cloves)
- Add 2 tbs of Organic Tomato Paste
- Add the Cubed Potatoes and keep turning them in the wok then cover and let it cook for 3 minutes
- Add the chopped Coriander
- Then add the 2 cups of Bulgar and keep turning it in the wok with your cooking spoon
- Add 1 can of Chickpeas
- Add the 1 Tsp of Thyme
- Then add the 4 cups of Vegetable Stock/Bouillon
- Cover and let it simmer then add the 2 tbs of Vegan Butter and let it continue to simmer for 15 minutes
- Once all the water has evaporated and the Bulgar is cooked, serve it while hot !
- Enjoy .... garnish with Coriander and Tomatoes
