Thanks so much for this recipe. It tasted delicious and the noodles/just the right texture. However it has a lot of sauce, more than is required for the recipe for 500g noodles so I increased the noodles to 750g so that we can have some leftover for tmr's lunch. I Also added a bit more beansprouts. It was quite saucy, & I found the sauce didn't stick on to the noodles so I had to thicken with 1tbsp cornstarch slurry. Is the noodles meant to be on the wetter/saucier side? Unless it could be I prefer a drier type of noodle. Other than that 👍for the recipe, seasoning and taste is perfect.

The cook will pile up the noodle like a tall bukit in dulang. and nothing else. Cakap nak berapa ringgit and he will took a portion of it from the top to your plate and you can makan dengan watery cili berlada. I remmber the taste really well even tho its 20 years ago. I try to but i cant replicate the taste. It has strong sesame taste but not overpowering. Its oily golden with soysauce taste. Simple yummy. i will try this recipe for breakfast pagi ni. Thanks!

Good Morning Roland and Jamie, YUMMY 😋 if i have viewed this before my breakfast i would have cook this instead hahaha. By the way, if i cook bee hoon instead of noodle, will it be the same? Or do i need to reduce some ingredients portion?

Hihi. The brand of the wok is La Gourmet. You can get it from most major departmental stores in Singapore like Robinsons, Tangs, Isetan. Happy shopping!!

@@julietong1418 I don't know about Tangs, as I haven't been to Singapore in 32 years. I should go back. :-) It took some digging, since La Groumet has a bunch of different ones. This one is the Galactic. The ones I found online are 32cm, (there might be a 22cm version, I saw some for their other lines). Induction friendly.

Some times more is better and sometimes simple is better. You are the master of your noodles so make them to suit you. Well Done. To start, sometimes I like to get the oil hot and then put in the green onions to help flavor the oil.
