I had a rescue like this. I left her alone for awhile while just sitting closer every day. That cat eventually became my shadow and she slept on my pillow every night. Rest in peace Rocketre!!! They are worth it!!!💕

Yes! I used a live trap to catch one of my fur babies. We went very slowly, no eye contact, no touching, no sudden movements. Then, one day she did a 180° and became my #1 fan. She loves having company, getting her belly rubbed, snuggles, etc. PLEASE GIVE THE SPICY BABIES A CHANCE if you're lucky enough to be chosen by one ❤

Mama had a hard life. It's good that you are able to care for her, despite her feral behavior. I think she may come around, eventually. Again, Thank You for caring for this feisty girl and her babies.

no she won't! and that's ok too. her worth is not dependent on her proximity to humans.

Her blindness and being feral might explain her spice: to her, growing up must have been a constant state of danger and stress. She's just in Red Alert mode 24/7; a cat friend might provide the safety and comfort that will allow her to finally decompress.

Their hearts know no bounds that's why even the spiciest of ferals, like Creekside, still have a home with them. They hope to have a cat ranch one day to be able to save so many more cats...I pray for that to become a reality bc they do amazing things❣️🐈❣️🐈⬛❣️

Every animal (whatever the species) behaves differently, just like humans too. There are mother cats who will allow a human to take over some of the care while they watch quietly. You can't know or predict how an animal is going to behave -- it can be different each time.

IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE OF US!! SO BE MINDFUL AND NOT THINK ABOUT YOURSELF!! THIS IS WHY I USE WHAT IS INVENTED!! SO THERE IS NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT BEING BLIND!! AND DON'T REPLY TO ME AGAIN!! I used to volunteer in western Montana with a spay neuter program that also did catch neuter release. I took in a few feral fosters and a few strays and then found them excellent homes. The clinic ran twice a month and gave low cost surgeries for cats and dogs thanks to an amazing caring volunteer staff and an incredibly dedicated veterinarian with amazing surgical skills. I fed two feral cats after re=releasing them post spay and used to dig pathways for them between two neighboring houses = one fed them - the other allowed them to winter over under the porch. I did that for six years and relocated them to the clinic when I moved away = because they were bonded with each other but never got to be adoptable. They had happy lives at the clinic - one became very tame in time and loved affection. The other remained happy to look and listen to sweet talking people but never wanted to be touched. Thanks for saving her kittens and giving her a chance to have a life less stressful than on the street. X0

Is she missing her right eye? You say she's doing well but she looks as if she may have some issues -- I hope a vet gave her a once-over & that she has been spayed. You don't mention any of this in your video. Thank you.

Had a stray that looks like her twin!! Her name was Lulu she never got over 4pounds but she was the cutest dam cat I ever saw!! I fed her from a bottle for about 2 months and cleaned her after each meal,it was my pleasure she was my best friend! I'd take her everywhere! Put her in my pocket and her lil face would peer out and she had fun! Loved me and not so many other people or cats but she tolerated them,I miss my lil Lu , I'll see her again over at Rainbow Bridge and I'll see all my animals I loved both mine and friends' animals! 😇😇🥰😍

My current cat was from a feral mother. She was friendly and me and the folks across the alley kept an eye on her, providing food and water. When she got really bulgy we each made a safe nest on our porches. April 30, 2007 I went out in the morning to a slow drizzle and she had two kittens in the yard. I moved them to my next and mama had two more. I adopted one of the kittens and Atilla is now 17 and a half years old.

'NO CAMERAS ALLOWED!!' 😂lmao cats are no joke! They can be rather nasty if need be!
@carolhayar303710 сағат бұрын
Any animal can be "nasty" as you put it -- a dog, a zebra. Many times they are scared, particularly if feral -- it's a horrible life out there & they cannot understand what's happening - often they are sick & in pain. This is why spay/neuter is essential.

Why didn’t her two kittens survive? She and her kittens were cared for, unlike being out in the elements. Mama cat was fed regularly, so the kittens should have been getting milk from her.
