So in the actual show, the computer was just _there_ without explanation as something studio-mandated for the superhero team. However, the viewers kept asking and it was explained in the third season (in "Origin of the Spider-Friends") how the team got together _and_ how their crime-fighting computer was a gift from Tony Stark after they helped him with something. What goes into installing an elaborate fold-out system of computers into the walls and floor of an _apartment,_ I'm not sure.
