Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most emotional MCU-Films so far. A lot of my praise goes to Willem Dafoe. He is truly a force of nature and in the middle of so many famous names, he managed to completely steal the scene every time he was on screen. That man can truly act. He shined brighter than I thought possible.

@JoeGrizz1y2 жыл бұрын
Overall it is an extremely well balanced and satisfying movie. The action sells the drama and nostalgia of the characters we love. The emotional story still shines through especially in the second half of the movie. All the returning characters feel just right for what they were given. Motivations for every character were clear and precise. Besides a few nit picky flaws, flaws that need to be there to push something or the movie forward, they can be over looked. Only main problem with the movie was the humor in certain moments. Moments were something cool or emotional happens and the characters have to say a joke that ruins the feelings of the scene. In the end, we’ll balanced, satisfying, and enjoyably fun. Agree that it is not perfect, but it delivers what fans and casual viewers wanted.
@danwarner78162 жыл бұрын
It's good, very gutch wrenching story. Very heart warming characters and I'm glad they still made it tom Holland centric film despite villains crossover. My only negatives is that they setup more plot holes than they can manage. Despite this is still one of my favourite spiderman films, idk if it best holland spiderman film but it is up there

Cody, instead of thinking strange and peter opened up the multiverse, I've always took it as a multitude of things broke the multiverse. Like you said I just can’t get into spiderboy or iron boy story line and I can’t get into the side characters like flash, Ned, zendaya In the other 2 movies she did good in the new one. I’m on board with the issue of everything leading up the epic moments was rushed because literally 20 minutes in I got the “wait we’re here already” feeling and that’s what was worrying me but in the end I forgot about the issue because I was so invested on what was happening. only time will tell of how I really feel about this movie, but as of right now I really enjoyed NWH and I’m excited for the future of Spider-Man. I definitely agree with people who have pointed out that they had to go backwards character-wise with Dr Strange to make this setup work, but I still loved it. I wish the Lizard had gotten a little more to do, but I liked how well the villains meshed in this world. I went in to this thinking Sandman would be the odd man out who wouldn't get much screen time, but they gave him a pretty good amount of dialogue

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man being talkative and not shutting tf up during the spell was in character. If you actually follow the comics this is who Spider-Man truly is. He’s mentored by others and he doesn’t know when to shut tf up. I like the characters being true to who they are in the comics

A big reason I plan on waiting for the streaming release is BCUZ of how people will be acting in the theaters. I can see how It can be a great experience but I'd rather watch the movie and not miss half of it. I've read other comments where people are actively trying to meme in the theater with this movie by playing music on their phones for certain parts or yelling lines for jokes. And I just can't bring myself to pay absurd amounts of money to listen to a theater erupting throughout the entire thing and trying to make memes. Plus you can watch people's in theater reactions on KZbin

I am literally getting a deja vu vibe of Shang Chi. Not to spoil the viewers fun or question the judgement of the critics but Shang Chi was not as good in mho as the critics made it to be. If it was 8/10 for critics (and almost everybody) it was well a solid 6.5 for me but definitely not a 8. In fact Venom which got a much lower rating was marginally better than Shang Chi I feel. Having said that I am definitely getting older and these super hero movies are for younger audience. Spider No Way home is definitely a more younger movie as a conscious attempt has been made to cast 2 very young actors along with Tom Holland. Cody Leach is one of the critics who I felt was more frank if not completely honest with his opinions but his review too seems more of a praise. But I agree with him. As a movie buff I just love all the 3 "original" Spiderman movies of Raimi, even the 3rd one. Probably my most favorite super hero movies.
