It's smart writing that Andrew was introduced before Tobey. Considering how Andrew’s films were less well received than Tobey’s, this scene could’ve easily been written as introducing Tobey - the original Spidey, the star of the great classic trilogy who was always guaranteed to get an eruption of applause - first, and then Andrew secondly. But if it had happened that way, there’s a chance that people may have been less excited for Andrew; they'd jump for joy at seeing Tobey and then it’d just feel like an afterthought of “oh Andrew’s here too, cool.” So it was very clever to introduce Andrew first and give him his own moment to shine by himself, and get some well deserved love from the audience, before introducing Tobey.

Andrew is the coolest and most physically attractive Spiderman ever . Its just Tobey Maguire Spiderman grew up early( compared to other Spider-men as Andrew in second movie and Tom Holland finally in NWH ) after uncle Ben's /MAY'S /Gwen 's death. With great powers comes great responsibility . Last words of uncle Ben in Raimi's Spiderman He stood and live by that line in the way uncle Ben always stays with him So that's why Tobey Maguire was most appreciated as comic book accurate spiderman. Bc he accurately portrayed the true spirit of Spiderman .Sure we all love spiderman to quipp in between fights .But Sam Raimi made sure his villians were darker, twisted and stronger that has mind f**k Tobey's Spiderman everytime and that made him push himself harder and fight with everything he got If Andrew is the amazing Spider-Man Tobey is the strongest raw bad@ss Spiderman. Bc He's the best Peter Parker with iconic dialogues . Peter is not supposed to look like an Instagram model. He is always supposed to appear polar opposites to spiderman .When he wears the mask ,he is cool and sassy..like he owns the city . That's just a behavioural camouflage. But behind the mask he is just a new yorker struggling with his daily problems just like the others but he puts his own problems aside and goes out of the way to save people .That makes him humane and closer to people around him. Spiderman is supposed to be people's hero...the bridge between normal people and superheroes. He is not so out of the world like captain Marvel or Thor that humans are beneath them. Tobey's Spiderman has the best portrayal of the rare combination of innocence and bad@ssery. But now other Spider-men finally knew what it takes to fill in Tobey's shoes . NOW all Spidermen are great in their own ways ...Bc they all grew up and become what Spiderman actually supposed to be . But both Andrew and Tom look up to TOBEY and he is their childhood heroes. I was 14-15 around the time The Amazing Spider-Man came out. Naturally it resonated with me even more because I was a literal teenager. I felt so identified and connected to Andrew's portrayal of the character, and even though both movies were not so great, he still managed to bring a comic accurate Spidey to life, his moves, his quirks, how he taunts his enemies during every battle. He has always been my favorite Spider-Man. Now, when I took my girlfriend to watch No Way Home, she told me in the car "I brought some tissues because I know you'll need them", I laughed it off as a joke. Then, this scene happens. Tears and snot are running down my face, I have a huge grin on my face, my throat feels tight, and she hands me the tissues whispering "told ya". I'll never forget that moment, everyone's reaction, pure bliss and excitement. Spidey just hits different.

Even though I grew up watching Sam Remy's Spiderman, I still like Andrew's spiderman more than anyone, mainly because his relationship with Gwen felt so genuine and natural (well turned out to be true so).

I'm fairly certain each one of the Spider-Men dated their on screen paramours, at some point. Tobey/Kirsten, Andrew/ Emma, etc. But, yeah. Something about them was distinctly electric.

Tobey Maguire is fantastic and Tom Holland is sensational but ANDREW GARFIELD is just phenomenal. He just slipped right in the role of PP like he TASM2 came out yesterday. I cheered and goosebumped so hard when he jumped out of the portal. A cinematic moment that I will always remember.

Andrew's Spider-Man was actually my introduction into comic book movies, with it being the first Marvel film I saw when I was about 7. Since then, I developed an affinity for Drama and last year I left high school with an A** in Theatre and Performing Arts, preparing to study at a Drama university in London next year. In retrospect, I do owe a large portion of that to this film for helping me find an outlet for my creativity and, also, I think I owe Andrew himself thanks too lol

I cried so hard seeing all three iterations on screen together. Tobey and Andrew took me back each time they were on screen. When they all masked up and jumped off of the scaffolding, I said “Wooooo hooooool!” Just like Tobey. Man… it’s amazing how fictional beings can really make you feel. Stan, I hope you’re still doing your thing up there because when I meet you, I have a couple of ideas. To everyone who took the time to read this: Be safe, be healthy, be kind, be loved. I don’t care what you have done. If you are a good soul, may this message reach your heart and know that you can achieve whatever you want! Remember, Stan created a multiverse.

I’ll say it, I’ve always respected andrews Spider-Man and I loved the first amazing Spider-Man movie. It really wasn’t that bad. I think the lizard was a well done character in the movie, this sympathetic Villian who wanted to cure people (specifically those without limbs) but just didn’t know the right way and in the end he redeemed himself saving Peter. I also think the soundtrack for the movies were pretty awesome especially Honest by the neighborhood. If there’s ever a day where Andrew comes back I hope it’s under MCU and he gets his Venom fight like what was said in the No way home scene. Tobey will always be my nostalgic masterpiece as far as those movies go because at 2 -5 when the movies came out I remember pretty clearly going whoa 🤯 and wanting to be Spider-Man. But Andrew came along and had this special charismatic Spider-Man persona to him, and the scene in no way home when he goes “Hey MAX I MISSED YA MAN” and swings off made me tear up.
