My friends' kids were really excited when I finally saw this about three weeks ago. When I got back, one asked what I thought. I said, "This movie is so good that no one's complaining about it on Reddit and also it actually made the first five films way better." I was expecting only cameos, too, but no, they brought in more Spidermans and then made them essential to the plot, gave us some really great meme references, and then the way they all worked together for the showdown... That fun "what would superheroes talk about" banter I loved so much in Hawkeye, Andrew Garfield's reaction to saving MJ, Toby Macguire stopping Tom Holland. Just incredible. The acting in this film was nuts, both heroes, side characters, and villains. And best of all, you KNOW Andrew Garfield wanted to do another Spiderman movie so bad. It's unbelievable that he finally got to and it's such an incredible movie AND it resolves his character's arc and it wasn't even one of his own Spiderman movies? It's like Marvel went in saying "we're going to grant EVERYONE'S wishes."

No way home is a whole experience! I got to watch it in the cinema as soon as it came out and I'm from Germany so it's usually very quiet. Maybe a few chuckles or polite applause but nothing more than that. But god damn did the audience go CRAZY for this one! I had so much fun

OMG, the first time I saw Darnell (Zendaya's assistant and best friend) playing MJ's fan I couldn't stop laughing🤣. It was so unexpected and funny. This movie was everything I wanted it to be and more. Love your reactions to it😊

Tom and Willem simply destroyed this film, without a doubt the best performance of the two in their respective characters. I'm very happy that Tom was able to work with his biggest idols, even more so when they were of paramount importance for the maturation of his Spider-Man, the new leader of the MCU ♥️💙🖤

this was awesome. three of those actors have such chemistry, it's magical and these three Spider-Man are basically like the Avengers of the spider-verse now. to me Spider-Man no way home it's just about the closest thing to a live-action version of Spider-Man into the spider-verse. I loved it 🕸️🕷️

The script confirmed that MJ feels like she does remember Peter! Because we know how much the MCU loves to play the emotional card, they will definitely have MJ and Peter reunite! Another card they could play also is having Ned become the Hobgoblin, because he no longer remembers Peter, and Peter has to fight his best friend, while he tries to get him to remember him!

The experience of seeing all this in the cinema was so surreal. One of the best cinema experiences of my entire life and it brought to life all the things I wanted to see for a long time and it was easily my favourite movie of 2021 and one of my top 3 MCU movies ever.

They destroyed the Green Goblin helmet in this movie because Willem Dafoe was at old age and the helmet was actually quite heavy, and Dafoe also wanted to do most of the action sequence by himself. But thanks to the helmet being destroyed, we get to see Willem Dafoe's amazing facial expression for Green Goblin, which is almost freakin' scary at some point!

The tree was Doctor Flora Birch, an infamous Spider-Man villain in a universe different from ours. If you haven't read the comics from all the dimensions, it is understandable to have missed that Easter egg. Great reaction, thanks!

I love how Tobey tells the story about how he looked for his uncle's killer, and when he found out it was Flint Marko he realized killing him would solve nothing, and forgave him. And during this movie where Tom Holland's Peter is hellbent on killing Norman, Tobey meanwhile is lookkng Flint, Uncle Ben's killer, in the eye and screaming "Flint! We're trying to help you!" If even Tobey won't let Tom kill Norman, and he has every reason to, that's when Tom became Spider-Man. Tom's Peter needed to learn to forgive people like Tobey had to. He also needs to forgive himself like Andrew's Peter is still working on.

Sony didn't make this movie, Marvel did. Sony just pays for it, takes the vast majority of the haul, and Marvel gets to use some of their characters and IPs in their movies, like Spidey being in Avenger movies and others. Marvel was the creative force behind this, entirely, they have been for all of the Tom Holland Spidey movies. They do all the casting, pick the crew down to the director, make all the decisions, it's Kevin Fiege. Sony just pays for it, and cashes in, on the end result. Marvel takes a small cut. It's a Marvel product, 100%

SONY definitely did not make this, though, but they were smart enough to let Marvel do it. That counts for something.

They just reused stock footage for Sandman and Lizard in their human forms. That's why they were CGI for the majority of the movie. Also they used impressionist voice actors to do their voices

Something may have happened with Talos, where he was compromised, or maybe Fury is just no longer hiding the fact that he's off world. Talos could have joined him, as well, in space. We'll be getting Secret Invasion, relatively soon, which could explain it, I kind of doubt that the events happen at the same time, but it'll probably explain what's going on, because all those players are involved in Secret Invasion. Supposedly Emilia Clarke is a bad ass, in it. Either way, it's obviously not a secret, anymore for whatever reason, sure we'll find out.

Why did they tease us with May's death, then un-tease it... then went along with it?! That was upsetting lolz. They probably wanted to mess with us again after Peter 2... or is Tobey 1? idk lolz... got stabbed but then were like nah let's not break their hearts even more. Side note: I wanna dislike Flash, but I can't for some reason. He's such a tool, but in a "bless his heart" kind of way.

With Aunt May, I think they took some inspiration from real-life instances- sometimes people react normally after accidents or traumatic incidents and don’t actually know they’re dying. I know they did this with Agents of SHIELD in one episode and it just made the whole death so much more devastating, and similarly with aunt May. And with Peter 2, I have a feeling they killed Tobey’s Spider-Man in earlier screenings and did not get good feedback on it so they probably saw that and decided to change it.

Like you, I had to wait for it to come out on digital in order to see it. However, although they were some cool moments, I ultimately found the film to be underwhelming and quite disappointing.😔 A lot of stuff made no sense. The film had a lot of potential with all the ingredients it had, but it was so undercooked. I could be wrong, but I agree with videos essayist *Full Fat Videos.* I don't think #SpiderManNoWayHome will age well. I think many people will get over the hype and the cameos, and realized they were poorly used. I don't regret seeing it though, and I'm glad others really enjoyed it.

When I saw that Spider-Man movie in theaters I thought it was pretty amazing my second favorite Spider-Man movie because I do have a few issues with it 1. Eddie Brock/venom only being in the post credit scene 2. Aunt may be killed by Green goblin 3. Everyone forgetting who Peter Parker is not just Spider-Man including his friends 4. That suit at the ending was pretty bad in my opinion because I kind of prefer Spider-Man when he has a technology suit

Interesting take. I actually like this one so much for the exact opposite reasons. 1. There hasn't been enough time to develop a rivalry between Peter and Venom yet. 2. Finally, Peter learns that his choices have consequences. 3. A bittersweet ending, but perfect since they can now essentially reboot his character with Tom still playing. 4. Peter has to rely on himself now instead of fellow Avengers coming to his aid when he gets in trouble.
