I love how you are a Tom's Spidey stan the most and highlight him and his acting, I haven't seen other reactors do the same. He deserves more praise, everyone talks about Tobey and Andrew and I absolutely get it (I mean, it's obvious why), but this was Tom's movie, he work so hard on it to give us the best possible result and he nailed it. I'm just simply so happy to see you as excited for him and his scenes as for the other two, is refreshing.

Peter'd decision to help the villains instead of letting them die is so unique and perfectly encapsulates what makes him a hero. So many people watching the movie think Peter's being stupid, and they think that Peter should have let the villains die but he didn't because when you can help someone then it's your responsibility to help them or at least try.

yeah except peters decision led to Aunt May dying, led to mass destruction, especially at Happy's apartment, there's no way that other ppl didn't die in that building other than Aunt May, then the destruction of the Statue of Liberty, a USA landmark that's been there since before he was born, yeah if he had the decision to let them die, all that death and destruction coulda been avoided

@@nygamerforlife1991 Nobody else dies because we didn't see it. The Statue of Liberty wasn't destroyed. Only the shield on the statue that nobody wanted and was government propaganda was destroyed. Also, Peter could not know about what will happen. He just based his decision on doing what's right. That's what makes him a hero.

@@garuna5688 I mean there's no judgement, Spider-man is still my favorite superhero but trying to save the villains was a dumb ass idea, and just because we didn't see it, that doesn't mean it didn't happen, Man of Steel showed Metropolis getting basically half destroyed cause of Superman and General Zods battle, and they didn't show if ppl died or not but let's be realistic, there's no way that ppl didn't die, which they did show on Batman V Superman Dawn of Justice, my whole point though is that, all of this coulda been avoided if Peter had just sent them home, them dying in their worlds are all their faults

They showed people running aroung, being rescued in MoS whereas the apartment in NWH looked deserted. Peter is a hero and he believes if you can help someone and you choose not to then you're responsible. There was a chacne he could save them so he had to take it. This is my point. The fact that so many people would not have done what Peter did is what makes him a hero.

Wanda and Dr. Strange may remember Spiderman. Despite what Strange said I'd think twice about casting a spell that would affect my memory were I him. As far as Wanda she's a lot more powerful than before and has both mind powers and is studying Multiverses. If she had been shielded when he cast the spell it wouldn't have effected her. Wanda's perfect really, they had a peripheral connection and she wouldn't think twice if no one mentioned him but if there is an 'Assemble' moment in the future she could be used to reintroduce him to the team.

By curing the villains and sending them back home they create a branch timeline from their previous ones where they didn't turn evil and died fighting Spider-Man. So while the Toby/Andrew movies happened as we saw them (and Toby and Andrew's story continued after those movies), now there's a branch timeline with these villains where they're good people and they're still alive. The whole branch timeline stuff was explained in Endgame.

That doesn't make sense... If they send them back to the point where they were taken from, after being cured... Goblin doesn't die, doc oc still dies... Sandman doesn't get affected. Lizard is fine and electro still dies. It doesn't change anything. They just choose to overlook this plot hole.

In the new universe of the green goblin he does not die, Harry doesn’t have that hatred for Spiderman and that’s why the same events don’t happen in Spiderman 2 and 3. In Doctor Oct's new universe, he may not die because he took Tony's reactor to stop the machine and do things right, in addition to returning with a broken mechanical arm. Electro, we don’t know if he dies or not, but he’s in his human form and has the drainer of his power, something that could save it at that time and help it regain its power and that’s already different. The lizard could have disappeared in a few moments before killing Gwen's father. And Sandman returns in his human form.

It's funny when I hear everyone saying how loud their theaters were because mine was the exact opposite. We had a full theater and everyone was completely silent, even during the Tobey and Andrew moments. 😂 I was really surprised because our theater was mostly boys like 18 and older.

Well, I’ve watched many videos and this is what I assumed coming out of the theater too, and I think just every piece of history that involved Peter Parker was changed to just not include him, and every media or any book covering him and his existence was erased from history. I also think the spell stopped people from being able to ever think about Peter Parker so they can’t ask questions about him and so on… literally they forgot who he was and and have a spell on their minds to never think about him. With their memories of him, they were just replaced with him either not being involved (so slightly altered memory) and having Spider-Man in their mind and not Peter Parker every time they think about their involvement in the Avengers and whatnot.

However, they likely would’ve reset the entirety of the universe instead of switching the history up. Dr. Osborn would still have the chance to have his machine corrupted again, etc.

The plot for helping the villains is rooted in the phrase, with great power comes great responsibility. It's part of Spiderman's core that nobody is beyond redemption. So, if he has the ability to save someone and he doesn't, the phrase implies that he helped with that person's destruction. We all tend to think of Peter's strength and unnatural abilities when it comes to him saving people, but he was also a genius before getting his powers. So, the movie was pointing out that being smart enough to fix the villains was a super power that then made him responsible to save them if he can.

So in a multiverse several possibilities can happen at once. Green goblin still dies in Spiderman 2002. BUT now there is a what if episode scenario of Norman living cured from the goblin and effects the Rami films if he's alive. Likely he goes to jail and Harry doesn't hate Spider-Man. Harry and Pete stay close friends. Harry doesn't help that Otto get the tritium. That doc Ock kills that Harry and Spiderman avenges Harry. Likely that Norman and Peter bond since Norman loss his son and that Norman helps Peter from turning into venom preventing the 3rd act fight of Spiderman 3 as well as prevent that venom. All this happens the same time as Norman dying. Itd like just creating an identical what if where things start changing but the original is left in tact. Now we can hope to see what if Norman didn't die as well as watch him die in the final battle with Peter

I have a theory that Norman Osbourne in the mcu is just some billionaire investment firm manager or owner on wall Street and will end up buying out the now defunct stark industries and lives in a different place I'm NYC as the Osbourne we saw. I do think he will be like an evil Tony stark for Tom's next triology more similar to the spectacular Spiderman version of Norman than Rami version. He'll also be used for dark avengers and be more tech based than say chemical based like Rami goblin

I know Dr strange is the adult and sorcerer in the situation as well as a former doctor so informed consent should've been a priority BUT I was on his side. Like Peter, shut up and stop talking. You can tell me and aunt may and spot and Ned etc after the spell is over. Then all would've worked out. If he had just shut up for a moment and hold questions until the end. Then he could've sat them down and told them instead of how they all found out. And Peter is kinda responsibile for May dying since she'd be alive if strange sent them back. I get it's an allegory for not killing the homeless and mentally ill or leaving them to suffer which I agree with but story wise strange was right to send them back especially since in the multiverse they've already died. Doc Ock confirms the Norman he knew did die. It's just that this variant Norman got to live a life

I have to be honest... Aunt May dying was unnecessary. Because Peter already seemed to have his "great power great responsibility" momen off screen with Uncle Ben before the first movie. He literally says those words to Tony when they first meet "Someone once told me, with great power comes great responsibility". So I don't know why he had to learn something again that he already learnt. It makes no sense and kind of ruins the entire movie for me.

I LOVE this Spider-Man movie definitely the best marvel movie ever. I used to somewhat despise Spider-Man cus I’m terrified of spiders they’re my #1 worst fear and he had spider in his name so yeah. But then when Spider-Man homecoming trailer came out I was like this actually looks interesting and good so I saw it when it first came out and it was so good and now I just think he’s all right. Never seen any of the other Spider-Man movies before Tom Hollands Spider-Man movies except for some scenes on KZbin and to be honest the acting in the other ones w/ Toby and Andrew aren’t that good but I’m sure they are great actors just in those movies they weren’t that good but in this movie they did an amazing job and all. Also my aunt and uncle and cousins said that I shouldn’t even bother watching the Toby and Andrew Spider-Man movies cause they weren’t that good. Anyways love this reaction and your videos!

4:55 I’m watching Daredevil for the first time and it’s good but I only like season 1 the other two seasons we’re not it for me. I hated a lot of the characters in season 2 like Frank, Elektra, and Sticks and having them take up so much time made it hard to watch. And I didn’t enjoy watching Foggy and Matt fallout their friendship moments are the best part of the show without it I got bored. My favorite Marvel series is either Agents of SHIELD, Moon Knight, or Agent Carter
