They tried to "Noir" up the stealth in later Spidey games, particularly in Insomniac's take. But man, there's just something different about the way Spider-Man noir takes enemies to quiet pound town. His takedown animations are brutal, and his combat moves feel more like you're killing enemies with your fists realistically than a simple nap time, and the villains are darkly colorful. Also had some of the best soundtracks for each boss.

Spiderman, the animated series voice actor from the 90's, Christopher Daniel Barnes, will always be the real Spiderman to me. I STILL feel like the end of that show needs a proper real ending. When I saw X-Men 97 announced...I was like.. "What about Spiderman?!" Lol. Great video!

One of my most favourite Spider-Man games of all time. Despite some flaws here and there,but this game has really made this game look so memorable in the first place. This alone really brought back Spider-Man back in its popularity and they also brought the recognition of the spider verse to begin with. Which brought the the spider verse comic series,the animated Spider-Man movie and now they’re bringing it to the MCU at No Way Home. Don’t know what future will hold for Spideys big adventure.

I really loved Shattered Dimensions, but after the end without an actual city to explore in each timeline, it was done with. Imagine swinging as Spider-Man Noire in the '30s and shutting down a mafia and seizing illegally made alcohol and stuff. It would be really cool. Then ww2 comes along and you can hunt for an Evil Hanz spy in America. It would be certainly more adult-themed but i would play the crap out of it.

You definitely should've mentioned the horror aspect with Hobgoblin (2099), Vulture, Carnage etc. The first person sequences really drove in that fear factor. And the sound design for Noir and 2099 was immaculate, especially the former one
