About that acting thing. You'd be amazed how well you can relate real life experiences to fantasy situations. Gandalf is protecting loved ones from a looming danger. The Doctor is asking someone he has strained relations with to help with an important task. Data is autistic. Those are relatable. Even if you haven't experienced those things, you very likely know someone who has. Peter Cullen voices an alien robot who transforms into a big rig, but he sounds like a soldier because he takes inspiration from his veteran brother.

Sins of Past could have been easily done by having norman create sarah and gabriel as "superboy/conner kent" AKA creating them as clones by using his DNA and gwen's (even profanating her tomb) just as a physical screw you towards peter. also, that immediately justifies why the children are older apart of "goblin serum gone wrong": they were aged artificially have the cloned children be the one who reveal to peter gwen and norman loved each other. that they even had letters made by gwen. I mean, osborn was revealed to be the mastermind behind the first clone saga. one would think he would ahve an extra "Up yours" involving clones. also, you can keep the option of bringing the clones back because they are still "just made", or bring them back even if their whole existence is akward. maybe even keep gabriel as a extra crazy grey goblin refusing to believe the truth. ALSO, speaking of clone saga: quick way to keep aunt may's beautiful death but still ahve it make sense: say the may she died was a clone instead of an actress. that way that death is still real because by all acounts the clone was may in all sense of the word. even if the elephant in the room of "real may not knowing who peter is" is left, just say aunt may got amnesia or something.

TLDR: Brad basically alienated all of his friends by basically laughing at their bad experiences like they weren’t anything that bad and accusing them of things they didn’t do. Edit: In hindsight, I was criticizing Brad to attack his reputation, and that was uncalled for. I don’t agree with the things he did or said, but it was still uncalled for. @@dicyanoacetylene6220 Cinema Snob, aka Brad Jones, pretty much burned bridges with the other former contributors with CA. His relationship with them was strained during the Not So Awesome Document reveal when he sided with Doug and the site but what became the final nail in the coffin was when, and feel free to research this part since my memory is a bit fuzzy on details, there was a "swatting" attempt on his wife during her father's funeral by supposed "fans" of the former contributors, this lead to accusations being made by Brad and his wife against the former contributors since they believe it was intentionally done when it actually wasn't, this is why Linkara said in the sketch "Oh he said that huh? wow made THAT crap up?" in reference to how Brad kept fueling the idea to his audience that it was the former contributors and even Brad and his Wife mocking the Change The Channel moment during a stream that happened afterwards. so yeah, this is why Lewis put the Caligula gag to rest and I don't blame him, what happened to his wife was wrong and should never have happened, but they both weren't exactly the better people for taking their anger out on people that had nothing to do without and forgetting that there are jerks out thee who probably hate both sides and just want to be jerks

As an actor, that opening scene really bothers me. Putting aside the idea that Mary Jane wouldn’t know the basics of acting, no director is going to take the time to do this at an audition. At a rehearsal? Maybe. Even a callback would be more plausible as that would at least indicate that they saw something promising in her performance and wanted a little extra push. But an audition? A director simply wouldn’t have the time, especially if were to believe that she was auditioning for a paid role. If an actor’s talent was such that a director felt they needed this level of coaching at an audition, they would thank them for their time and bring in the next actor.
