SS and KZK, second and third albums, are joint best for me, but MM is such an accomplished debut. She was ready from day one, not really a surprise when you hear her demos from the mid to late 90s and see all the songs there that would end up on her first couple of albums.

Great review of the album. Sheena Ringo has done some work with the Jazz Band "Soil and Pimp Sessions" and re did a song called "My Foolish Heart". What she did was give it lyrics and sang the trumpet line. I would have you listen to the original version and then the version with lyrics.
