Thanx so so so much for sharing this little gem! I loved Spike Jones then, and I still do. I remember the days of live commercials, and things going wrong. I lovingly remember Teddy Snow Crop, the little bear, so cute, and Snow Crop orange juice. Don't remember them having toaster waffles, though. Matter of fact, I thought Eggo was the first toaster waffle. I guess it was bc mama and my grandmas always made their own. RIP, Mr. Jones, and thanx for the magic, music, and memories.

Thank you for sharing this. These old Live Variety shows are wonderful. I never saw them in person (I wasn't born yet) But seeing them first on PBS and then on video has been a wonderful treat. I am glad they finally have Spike Jones on DVD. :-)

My Daddy, Joe Schweiger, was the Sound Engineer on this show. Many times, my Mama and I would go to Hollywood to be in the audience and meet Daddy afterward. (The shows were all done "live" back then.). Great memories! ❤️
