This is her fault, she is the one that decide to approach the crowds even knowing the dangers of it, having a ring stolen is better than if one of them ripping up her hair or clothes (things that already happens to other celebrities). She is the one who begin the act to say hello, not the fans. If she has stayed in the scene none of that will have happened. A crowd is made of differents kinds of people, and not all of them can be good (the obssessive fans, and the dangerous haters), this is how it is.

Bittersweet Arts when you have no control over other people's actions all you can do is be accountable for your own. She was at fault for approaching a crowd of fans (and fans have historically proven to be full of dangerous weirdoes) against her better judgement. That doesn't excuse how any of the fans acted towards her and what they did; they should be held accountable for their own actions as well but that doesn't mean that she holds no blame herself for what happened.

And yet we can't improve it and that's the nightmare every artist has to face, and guilty pleasure to fans. The concert is always marketed as a place to 'experience a once in a lifetime fun', thus rules would just fricked up the fun part easily. Which is why I never attempt to attend such crowd, for fear of my own life at risk. Not gonna rip my ears off just to get a silhouette glimpse of a human singing from afar and couldn't really hear even one complete song without a screamo spoiling it. Just my opinion

Man, I hope she gets it back. As someone who's distressed all the time, I can tell Billie is freaking out over the ring, cared about it, and is just playing cool. She clearly cared about it.
