I was living pretty much entirely in Grateful Dead land when this came into popularity. I thought it was vacuous then, it sounds even worse now. There's just nothing there. They couldn't be doing any less.

@@unknownKnownunknowns Depends on how you dance. As for funk, the Dead's whole trip was disorienting you away from the One. It's as far from funk as Coltrane's later Impulse! records. That's its magic.
