Good video John. Something I've never used before. Obviously something useful especially for second hand records. Nice one.

Cheers mate. Exactly, although there are some people in the VC who clean new records when they get them as well. Thanks for watching bud. 🍻 🤘

Very informative video Johnny, thanks! Reckon I'll have to pick one of these up myself, as well as some of those inner sleeves. Coincidentally, the outer sleeves I get are Spincare too, and look like they're exactly the same as those ones - they're really good quality. Hope all is well with you, and that you have a good weekend! Cheers! 🤘

Cheers mate. Yeah it's worth getting, especially if you pick up second albums off ebay and discogs. The inner sleeves are 👍. Thanks for watching bud 🤘🍻

Cheers Marty. Well the one I did last year was watched by a lot of people, and I was planning on cleaning some records anyway, figured I'd film it. I would recommend it bud. Thanks for watching 🍻 🤘

Wow that's a really cool device to clean your records Johnny! When you had them all on that rack it looked like you were doing the dishes 😂😂 If it does the best job it's definitley worth it, but obviously if it does an ok job or there's cheaper options that can do better it's not. I guess it's one of them things where you need to ask someone who has one. Great video though mate, really enjoyed it. And awesome Sabbath t-shirt man! 😀🤘

Cheers Josh. Yeah, if you buy a lot of second hand vinyl, then it's worth picking up something like this. I found it was one of the cheaper ones on Amazon, and I find it works well enough for me. Thanks for watching dude 🤘 🍻

@@rockandmetalplus5248 Welcome mate! Ah nice that's cool, I'm not too sure if it would be something I would need. I don't collect vinyl's, and I'm not sure if I would really. But still that's cool man, as long as it does the job for you and it was for a good price that's great! Cheers man 😀🤘👍

I don't collect vinyl but I do own a handful of which I have some 7" ones that I'm sure will need at least a wipe. Essential bit of kit for any vinyl collector 🤘🏻

Indeed mate. You can move the rollers on it, so you can clean 10inch and 7inch singles as well. Thanks for watching dude 🤘 🍻

With the water dripping off the bottom when you pull the record out... how is it that the water up top is not dripping onto your label?
@rockandmetalplus5248 Жыл бұрын
The water has some fluid in it, so it follows the Grooves in the wax to the bottom, avoiding the label. Thanks for watching

My question with those spin cleaners is, how does it not get the inner label wet when the water runs down from the top to the bottom? I've always heard not to get the label wet, but how does that type of system not let water run down?
@rockandmetalplus52482 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I'm not sure. You only fill it up to the bottom of the label, so it doesn't get submerged in the distilled water. But gor some reason when you leave it to dry, it doesn't drip onto the label... must be magic ( I really don't understand the science, but it doesn't seem to get the inner labels wet) Thanks for watching 🍻 🤘

I have the same Spincare cleaner and the water just follows the grooves down. I never had any issues with labels getting wet. Ones you get used to this machine it's very effective and easy to clean your dirty records. I posted a before/after video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqfblnevl9GCgck

it's because the water flows through the record grooves instead of vertically

That's a retro looking record box behind you. What about Nintendo? Do you have much Nintendo stuff? I have a 2DS which plays 3DS and DS games.
@rockandmetalplus52482 жыл бұрын
Its one of tge record boxes I have my old 12inch singles in. I do have a couple of the flight case type boxes, that hold 100 albums, and a crate on wheels that holds another 100. Man don't get me started on video games and games consoles. You know what its like when you are a collector. As far as Nintendo go, i currently only have a switch, a wii u and a wii. I may have an old ds lite in a box somewhere. I had a pokemon 2ds, but gave it to my son, when his broke( and i didnt find myself playing on it much).Thanks for watching mate 🍻🤘

It’s like you know what you’re doing John, lol! I’ve looked at getting one of those Spincare cleaners myself, but I’m not sure! It looks like it does a good job tbh, but I seem to be able to do a good job without one, just using cloths & sprays n that! Good to see you as always mate!!🤘🏻
@rockandmetalplus52482 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate. It does do the job, especially with stuff like that Budgie and Deep Purple albums. But if you can get yours clean just with cloths, stick with em dude. Thanks for watching sir 🍻 🤘
