@@friendlyneighborhoodinquis1682 it seems more related to his mom. As a root problem. Then look at him and Fizzarolli. Fizzarolli left him behind as he became more popular. I don't doubt that he was the one who carved out acts for Blitzo here and there but the resentment between them grew so bad that Fizz just left him behind and that left Blitzo feeling deeply betrayed.....even though it was his own resentment at Fizzarolli that dissolved their relationship. I think this goes back to episode 6 and how his hallucination of Fizzarolli threw him into the mud, how he interprets being left behind as his childhood friend turned lover gained success and abandoned him. Then a rebound with a popular pop singer in Verosika, but he never really liked her. His face in the picture seems like it is meant for someone else. He doesn't look cool, he looks bitter and venomous. He was just using her, her body to try and forget Fizzarolli and her status to hit back at his ex. Blitzo has an awful history that he pretty much made himself. And he fucking knows it. But what we don't know or get or understand is his relationship with his mom and how that started everything. Except...maybe....just a thought. His mom looks really sad. Her children are all smiles and happy but she looks...depressed. And it just crossed my mind writing this. But what if his mom killed herself...

You're right in some ways. And not to start fights if you do see this. I feel like blitz it's more in the wrong than stolas because. Blitz just want to go spy on moxie. And everyone else, he really didn't care about. Stolas at all I stolas is trying to have a next time. I can see stolas trying to make this an actual relationship. Blitz it's over here, doing technically nothing to it. Remember stolas in the new episode had a pretty f'd up dad, I don't think he ever got what he actually wanted in life. However, do you remember Millie calling him "his boyfriend"? Stolas cheering for him at the big event? Stolas proud of him when he won? Or how Stolas saved him on Earth, saying that their agreement could lead to consequences for him? Stolas' behaviour does include him using the book to get Blitz in his bed, but we cannot ignore the attempts to have something more. He divorced his wife, he was genuinely happy to go out on a date, he himself is a dork who don't know what to do for real. I can't see him as evil in his actions, toxic yes, but also inexperienced when it comes to relationships. The marriage with Stella was likely arranged, so has he ever had the chance to explore what he likes?

His face is marked out on a lot of the photos which makes me believe he is self-conscious about himself or under values his life alone because he hasn't been able to find a healthy relationship like Moxxie and millie have which was the reason why he adopted Luna to possible try to share his love to her as a parent but she really doesn't take it granted a lot.

That's actually a key trait of Blitz that can be spotted in nearly every episode. I'm guessing something happened in his past that, probably around his parents, that left him incapable of understanding what a healthy relationship looks like. Which is why he keeps spying on Millie and Moxxie, cause their relationship is the kind he is striving for, but has no idea how to achieve. He has a pathological desire for family relations, and adopting Loona is, technically speaking, a symptom. Chances are Stolas will be his way towards the goal, but Blitz still sees himself as Stolas' plaything. I'm guessing there will at least be a couple of episodes where the two of em gradually figure out how they feel- Stolas realizing he actually deeply cares for Blitz, and Blitz figuring it out and managing a sort of relationship with him. I can already see Blitz asking Moxxie for advice, without trying to look like he's asking him for advice.

Did no one notice how when Stolas looked at Stella, his eyes were normal.. but when he saw Octavia his pupils showed. It’s great detail. Stolas is a prince so he is used to things being given to him, Stella was probably an arranged marriage, he can get into clubs without reservation etc. He also doesn't recognize other peoples emotions as in episode 2 with Octavia. Blitz most likely feels trapped since without that book Blitz can't pay M&M, he can't pay his bills, he can't pay Loona. Episode 5 he believes it is a transactional ****ing.

On to the Blitz. Episode six, we know he hates himself and is prone to self-destruction, He wants to change and is, slowly. Episode 7 the opening he treats Moxxie without criticism. A step in the right direction but the baggage he carries needs work, we see from his photos he doesn't want to self reflect and on his phone we see all his past failed relationships and the sight of his sister and I assume his mother just sets him off. Based on that alone I'm going to say he doesn't or can't see his mother anymore.

I feel that many people, while they say that it is heartbreaking to see all this happening, as someone who aspires to be a storywriter myself, it doesn't take that much foresight and intellect to see that Viv and the crew will inevitably have things work out for Blitzo and Stolas because they set this episode up the way they did. They made it specifically that Moxxie and Millie had an outing to this place where they introduced Asmodeus, both as a character and as a plot device to hint at the conflict of the relationship of Blitzo and Stolas coming to a head. And using retrospective knowledge, knowing that Asmodeus has the legal authority and ability to travel to and from the living world, it's very easy to see that either A, Viv and the crew (I don't know the other people's names I'm sorry for any perceived disrespect) have Blitzo and Stolas eventually work out their issues and become a couple akin to how Moxxie and Millie are, or B, they'll have the conflict only deepen and as a result, have a somewhat perfect mirroring of Blitzo and Stolas, and Ozzie and Fizz, because using details picked up from each of the scenes, Fizzaroli and Blitzo, from my observations of having rewatched the show 26 times and counting, seem to always mirror one another. Starting from the Circus Fire, Fizzaroli was more badly wounded than Blitzo, but in the end, Fizz was more successful, and Blitzo has to work harder than Fizz does, Fizz has a better relationship with Asmodeus than Blitzo does with Stolas, regardless of the fact that both Fizz and Ozzie are thirsty, lustful demons while Blitzo and Stolas, both of them being Thirsty and Lustful demons, their relationship as of late is *only* the sexual encounters that they have, and as a result, you have a near perfect mirror between these two couples. While the other option, very easily accessible, it also just goes to show that the Pareto Principle, no matter the medium, no matter the type, the Pareto Principle basically dominates anything and everything, even when it comes to storytelling, because 20% of your story has caught the attention of the views, but nearly 80% of it is seen by the loyal viewers.

Aside from the obvious Tearjerkers, some small things that make me smile: Stolas and Stella have officially separated, as Stolas mentions Octavia is with her mom. Meaning that Tex was 100% sincere in wanting to be her friend and help her socialize.

the blitzo fear isnt a thing of the helluva boss, its real and i found comments down below talking about it and persons who have the fear of love, like me, i got this "cycle of sollitude" for a long time, i had the problem of feeling love for real, but never come past my limits, i couldnt find a way to create real relationships without acting like a toy or a tool willing to be used (just like blitzo), but it took a time for me to realize that there is nothing wrong in feeling love, a lot of people cared about me and i've pushed then away like blitzo, breaking their hearts, i've knew i was more than the "empty shell" i created, i moved on those feelings and after 7 years of struggle, made 3 freinds which are the best companies i have now, they really understand me and care about me and when it comes to me care about then, i do it, i don't act like a puppet willing to be used by its masters, we all love helluva boss and have been watching it from the beggining. When this episode went on, we all made a discord call to react it and when i saw the ending, blitzo crying and all, i got discrontolled and went on for the crying, hugged alongside my pillow like blitzo, cause he was my favorite character and seing him at this point of life broke me and i strugled to change my way of life, it felt ironic, after a time my freinds told me that if i changed, blitzo would change too, after all this time i keep holding the feeling that blitzo can be more and he''ll find a way to live on just like me, he became a silhoutte of a me that existed for a long time.

I just realised something after rewatching this episode for the tenth time. Blitzo isn't saying he doesn't want more from Stolas... Which I misunderstood from my first few watchings. His exact words "don't act like what we have is anything more than you wanting me to fuck you". At first I thought he was saying that their relationship is nothing more than sex, but in truth he's saying "I know you don't want more from me because who could ever love me". He can't see Stolas' advance as anything more than him wanting sex. He think Stolas invited him to stay because he wanted it to end in bed. While Stolas genuinely wanted to spend time with Blitzo... Makes it all the more tragic

At least thats my theory. I think he got betrayed. By his best friend Fizzaroli and maybe his twin sister also betrayed him. He can't trust people, he feels unworthy, and that leads to,him not being good at romance and envying Moxy and Millie' relationship

@Camille Pepin during episode 4 when loopty first appeared and before millie jumped in to talk to him you can see a poster for blitz and his "twin" while not outright confirmed that is his sister that is a bit suspicious also during episode three when Verosica and blitz are arguing over the spot Verosica mentions his sister being in rehab while yes this could be an insult blitz's sister may not be gone

Like, its pretty clear by the "goodbye" part that Blitzo thought the price for spying was having emotionless sex. I don't think he genuinely thought Stolas wanted to talk, or have an actual "date."
