wow i cant believe how automated that place is, the place i used to work at at old flyer rovers that had to be hand doffed. and the rovings had to be hand hung on the spinners. where is this place.

the place i worked at is still hanging in there although after 24 1/2 years i was made redundant. on the spinners we used to use the new metric i think. and the yarn was in count. althoug over the other side we did run use tex on the other direct spinners. i hated the heavy count yarns like 5, it doffed like every 40 minutes.

5:40 to 7:20 is the job I do. Drawing. Kicks your ass where I work because they overload us with cleaning and etc. while making us maintain high production or our pay drops like a brick. Used to make more money 10 years ago when there were several more plants under our company. Sadly we are the last plant operating.

we stil way way behind here in new Zealand as long I got a job that's cool,,but we go of fine spinning cos we only have frame left after the ossess got rid of 4 others ,over time they run,now we spinning 70 tex to 600 tex on one mCHINE,THO WE STILL HAVE 1 FINE TEX MA
