We had the exact same thing happen to us today 4/10/23. Not as fun when you’re inside the plane 😳 N926NK flight NK3116 from FLL-BNA.

It was gusty winds, but they weren't *that* strong, nor were they especially crossy. My best guess is just some light windshear spooked em, that bounce sure looked funny

We don’t know why they went around. There’s several different reasons why the pilots were either uncomfortable or told to go around by ATC.

Strange indeed. It seems to vanish after aligning with the right stabilizer. Did the object actually collide with it and disintegrate?

YES I see it. Hard to tell distance behind aircraft. Wondering if any passengers on the starboard side window view seats caught it. hmmmm. It is definitely out-of-the-ORD- inary.
