Extremely detailed, descriptive, and honest review, Marty! I’m always interested in picking up some challenging and unconventional metal music. I have Spirit Possession’s demo tape and debut full length so this is something I should obligate to my collection.

You are great with your words, nice review! Funny enough this album makes me think of the A side of Yes - Close To The Edge with its progressive guitar playing and organ synth passages. But in this version they've fallen over the edge... into a demented realm occupied by demonic spectres and swirling hellfire.

Its almost like Steve turned the Ulthar riffs upside down to create this feel. Will be seeing SP on April 14th and can't wait!!! Make sure you check out Insect Ark for more of Ashley's drumming prowess. She is a power house!! Great insight Marty, always interested in your opinion.

I can’t get into this band because of the super echoey vocals. This combined with the guitar sound- I can’t latch onto the music. I’ll give this new one a shot, think I need to spend time with it to get it.
