Zev was an absolute UNIT behind the kit--he plays like he's been on stage for 20 years already Edit: AYO WAIT THAT ENDING THOUGH at 3:50?????????? They didn't play this when I saw them! Such a cool variation on that part from 2:33 thaaaaaat was awesome\m/ last thing--Mike's guitar playing is unbelievably clean, he's one of the tightest players I've ever heard

The kind of music Zev grew up with wasn’t around when I was young so I never got good at more extreme forms of drumming like double kick. I can now but Zev blows me out of the water. Amazing drummer. Excellent feel and that’s hard to find in a metal drummer

2:42 This is proof that you don't need big chops to be impressive on drums. Zev can undoubtedly do that with ease, but here just electing to use simple sticking patterns like RllK and I think some variation of RLK as well to make something so creative and so seamless.

You need to put Mario duplantier on your drum cam next. He is Amazing and I think he is using the k sweets like zev. Gojira are currently on tour in the U.S. rn and they are playing at some European festivals in the summer such as Hellfest in their home France. Resurrection fest in Spain and Voa heavy rock in Portugal
