Spirit of the Law is crazy good at these kinds of games. He doesn't completely understand the game yet, but despite that is able on pure intuition to crush 4 tough AI opponents and make it look so easy.

Yeah and in titans was a exploit with flaming weapons so that it just deleted the last powerup after it depleted. So if you casted it three times and it depleted you kept the two former casts as permanent power ups. I loved having some 900 dps ulfsarks melting through the enemie's lines. :D

I'm guessing that the Wonder's buff that makes Titans larger is programmed as a toggle effect when it appears/disappears. Something like, function wonderComplete() { buff = not(buff) } So when the cheat Tinfoil Hat randomly converted things, we ended up with two converted Titans remaining the large size, while surprisingly, the one Titan belonging to the player who also has the converted Wonder got shrunk. Going with my hypothesis, the game wasn't designed to check if converted Titans should remain large, since normally you can't convert a Titan. So the two converted Titans remain large despite the controlling player not controlling a Wonder. But the Prometheus got shrunk because when that player also received the converted Wonder, the toggle was triggered which was intended to flip him from small to large, but because he was already large, Prometheus got flipped to being small.

2:30 The instakill of a single non-heroic, non-myth unit was indeed the minotaurs effect, or in case of some myth units(like cyclops) dealing some damage and flinging it. However i watched a different video where a minotaur attacked a bunch of workers and it now flings multiple units damaging ALL of them but not instakilling any. So it's now better against groups of non-heroic enemies, but worse against individual targets. EDIT: Originally i though that the other video was the Showcase of Freyr on this channel, my mistake.

I think its mostly because you can wall off with buildings more cost effectively.

It is common, it just depends on the map. Just as in AoE 2. And as usual a lot of pros prefer open maps. Same reason you don't see much navy.

Fun fact: in the original game the campaign titans had the same insane regenration, but Osiris didn't have any regeneration. Yet his stats were so strong that he could still solo all the titans and survive despite not regenerating.

It's called _Wonder Age_ , a new feature of Retold. Basically you can now build a wonder, and as long as it stands you're in the Wonder Age, which among other things supersizes all of your myth units

doubles the titan's stats, makes god powers cost around 10x less favour to recast and also have a much shorter cooldown, and i think favour gen might be boosted a bit idk. But basically, its meant to end a stalemate by fast-tracking a victory on one side.

Gonna 🤓👆 here. Osiris isn't a titan in game, he was a part of the main story which was the original. Titans weren't added until the Titans expansion that was released all the way back then which was also the one that added Atlanteans.

It changes based on which pantheon you played last. If you just played an Egyptian main god your main menu is a phoenix flying over the desert etc. I'm sure there's going to be mods changing the main menu background to custom ones very soon though, if not already.

i used to do zenos paradox game where you play 1 v 12(?) titan ai but you get unlimited uses of the cheat with the caveat of you have to use up all the god powers before refreshing

I'm nearly 40. This is the only way to play AOM. Did they get rid of Lazerbear? Cheat Code O Canada. Basically the best unit ever. Very high armor and health. You can stick one or two in choke points and they'll hold off the AI raids while you build up.

If they kept everything same as the Originals, Osiris should be the strongest because he wasn't a Titan, he was a regular immortal unit that appeared I think last of the Egyptian campaign. Actually all of them are suppose to be immortal, basically with high regeneration, Osiris being the highest. Chronos should be weak to Gaia because she has a special attack only against him. Prometheus was dealt by an Anubis looking unit called The Guardian, but it ends with a cutscene, so never seen Prometheus die either.

I would prefer to see some more normal games, this was fun, but I'd like some more 1v1 or 1v2 games that you actually can win. You wanna use WRATH OF THE GODS cheat code instead, that gives you the super busted god powers The thing with Osiris is he's a hero character rather than a titan so he's super OP as he's a campaign guy, Titans count as myth units so Osiris being a hero deals extra damage to them too.
