Great video! I love my pair of Action 4 cameras. I use them the same way with one on the bars and one on my chin. You gotta try the remote for them it makes recording and editing multiple cameras so much easier by syncing the start of record with one button so you don't have to worry about lining it up after importing in your editor. I think you can sync up to 16 action 4s with it..... hmmm 16 cameras on a motorcycle sounds like an interesting challenge......

U lost me at "DJI is sponsoring". If u want to make a video with this Topic, a contender can NEVER be the sponsor. Else the entire video becomes simply invalid.
@BnB1408105 ай бұрын
I see your point, but I've always believed Spite to be honest in his opinions and reviews. He was upfront at the start about the sponsorship, which he has to be. It's a worrying trend though, someone with less scruples would take advantage of. You really have to research different reviews on the net before buying anything these days.

All my camera gear is DJI. It just works. I use the A4 with the Mic 2 and the wrist remote. After you pair them once they always automatically connect and start and stop with the remote. I have used several different mic setups for motocross audio involving wires and adapters and volume controls but now I use the mic 2 with blue tooth connection and it's awesome. That means my camera is back to being a sealed waterproof unit with no audio fail points. When the Action 5 comes out I hope it has GPS on board. Currently you have to use the remote to get GPS data and it's really not a problem but if it were in the camera already I wouldn't need the remote.

I just bought the Action 4 yesterday. Another channel steered me towards the Insta360 Ace Pro, so I ordered it Saturday, then by Saturday afternoon I discovered the Action 4 again and realized the huge mistake I made getting the Ace Pro. There has been a blitz the past month where influencers who didn't get the Action 4 when it first came out got it now. I'm concerned because we are well into the product cycle. So, what happens when the Action 5 comes out? Does everyone who bought one two to three months before getting pissed off because they were told a camera was the best? I hope that happens. Those are very different cameras with different purposes. The DJI is good as a main camera for shooting one thing. The X3 is good for setting it and forgetting it. I have a GoPro 8, purchased just before the GOOD action camera options were available. I record video with the chin mounted GoPro, import that into my Kdenlive video editing software, attenuate the wind and motor noise by 20+ dB so there is a little bit of background noise for dramatic effect, then I record the narration that I want for the edited video to tell the story I want to tell and mix that audio with the finished video. It's a hassle compared to uploading a time wasting stream of consciousness unedited moto vlog, but all of my audio is the same level and I have collected my thoughts and know what I want to say as succinctly as possible so I respect the viewers' time. Sound does suck, and it's annoying to use media mod, makes the whole thing heavy and cumbersome IMO, video quality is irrelevant today... you can use gopro from 5 years ago and you'll have great video. Problem is audio, and that rumbling noise in the helmet. I struggled for hours to clean it in audacity to no avail, spent hundreds of dollars on equipment (you guys may get purple panda for 30 dollars, i need to spend over a hundred to purchase that mic), and still, anything over 100 kph, you get this annoying rumbling noise.
