I was so bad at this game... I used to meticulously kill or incapacitate every single guard and hide all the bodies instead of just sneaking past. I somehow managed to beat the whole game, but damn, it was not easy that way.

'Vintage' is the key word. The atmosphere in these games was off the planet!!

@MohamedElouarda-qk6ws 6 ай бұрын
@@AchtungBaby77agree. If we could résume the force of games in 90's and 2000's, it would be atmosphere. I didnt finish this Pandora Tommorow but when you played that game, it looks like you were in a movie. You would go out feeling you are in an unfinished adventure at home... Todays game, i didnt play any of the new since 2017. The last one was RDR 1. Games of today are all about graphics and physics. No atmosphere. This game was good graphically not awesome (half life 2, far cry were at that time), but the atmosphere and gameplay were phenomenal. You coudnt drop it

Yes. It felt like you are in a town at night all alone. The surrounding sounds felt amazing. I don't know why people hated it. To me Pandora Tomorrow had a heavier atmosphere, compared to Chaos Theory. @@MohamedElouarda-qk6ws

It wasn’t until I watched this that I realized the biggest thing that happens if you don’t kill her are the 4 snipers in the balconies after you go up the elevator. If you kill her, there are 4 guards walking around the ground. That’s interesting.

The Graphics on this game were early stages of next gen graphics for sure, absolutely outstanding, love that they used the unreal engine, no other game had soft body implementations in games during this time which really blew everything away (Soft body models are things like curtains and flags that can move with flexibility). The colors were also fantastic, nowadays if you upscale this game to 1080P or higher its just baffling that the PS2 and XBOX's hardware was really holding it back in 480P. Love this game.

Chaos Theory wasn't bad, but the game engine was a little odd and buggy, Double agent was HORRIBLY optimised, Conviction wasn't bad but turned away from stealth and tried to go Rambo style for some scenes, and Blacklist didn't have Michael Ironside in it.

Dennis Haysbert as Lambert's new voice was an excellent choice, but they should not have replaced Grim's. That voice was changed back to the original quickly, since the next game Chaos Theory.

Loved playing this game! Would prefer to kill/knock-out a few more baddies though and I always enjoyed to take out all light sources and operate in complete darkness using my night goggles. Would be good if you use your night goggles a bit more as at times it's hard to see where you're going and/or what you're actually doing. Other than that, awesome to see this 'walk through' after not having played this for such a long time!

Having seen the 1st 3 Splinter Cell games, Pandora Tomorrow seems to be the best one. it has the most gampelay variety. I don't remember having to infiltrate submarines or dodge trains in Chaos Theory. As fun as Chaos Theory was, that game was mostly sneaking through banks, ships, and war zones. There was less variety in the missions. I will, however, give Chaos Theory credit for having the coolest soundtrack. Amon Tobin's music makes that game come to life. The soundtrack in this game is close behind, though. The 1st one is pretty cool and looks very impressive for a game from 2002, but the second 2 are a lot more impressive to me. I'll take all 3 of them over Splinter Cell Blacklist, though. Not sure why the last the game turned Splinter Cell into a generic first-person shooter. I'd like some more stealth and interrogation-focused Splinter Cell games, Ubisoft.

Have you actually played blacklist? It not remotely close to an fps. It just has options, which is nice. You can 100% ghost the game, you can go loud in nearly every section, or go full pather mode and kill without alarms, or a mix of the 3. I have played all SC games except Pandora Tomorrow and Double Agent. Blacklist is my favorite. The only reason Blacklist gets played like a 3rd person shooter at all is because it actually has decent combat mechanics and the bullets go exactly where you aim. As a stealth game though, its one of the best in the genre.

Lol. Locations don't matter if most places don't let you play how you want to. Also PTomorrow is broken piece of crap. Enemies will inconsistently hear you climbing for no reason. The shadows are messed up. The audio is horrible. Chaos theory has good variety in levels but also unparalleled replayability and player agency. Also superb controls and mechanics

I had this game but I never completed it. I only ever passed the first Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. I also noticed that Lambert wasn't voiced by the same actor of the first game. Dennis Haysbert was the voice of Lambert in Pandora Tomorrow. But the original actor reprised his role for Chaos Theory and Double Agent.
