My Vadrok combo deck is a bit different, but it also uses Intuition ftw. The combo is based on copying a hexproof creature with vadrok mutated under it and stacking its ability infinite times... 1) Mutade vadrok under something hard to remove; 2) Copy it using Cackling Counterpart/Fated Infatuation/Quasiduplicate and bounce the original (preferably with Snap or Cloudstone Curio); 3) Mutade Vadrok under the token and it will have one more mutate trigger; 4) Copy the token with 2 abilities (creating a token with 3 abilities) and then bounce it; 5) Repeat one more time with the token with 3 abilities, casting Snap twice to pay Vadrok's full mutate cost and you are set; 6) Infinite mana+tokens+spells.

Lets figure out how much life you could have had at the end of the game! The cases we need to think of are what cards can't be used as a cost to exile for the Swords to Plowshares. These are Force of Will (As it was already exiled), the 7 lands to be described to be in play, Palinchron (as it was exiled to the first swords) and your commander itself. So 10 cards can't be used for this. You also need to have Swords, Rolling Earthquake, and 2 other cards at the end of the loop in order to cast Rolling Earthquake. So 14 cards are not able to be used for the cost. The entirety of the turn until palinchron costs 48 cards (There is some more finesse that can be done with Sevinne's Rec and the lands and High Tide to make it done this way). So, 62 cards are unable to be used for the costs. So you have 48 cards to exile in order to pay the cost of the Swords to Plowshares. This means you have 16 casts of Swords, for 4 life, and then 3 life afterwards. 45 (3*15)+4 (Palinchron)+38 (Starting Life Total). This means your life total was 87 before the Rolling Earthquake, and as potentially high as 46 if you killed David exactly with the Rolling Earthquake.
@amaterasu86
@amaterasu86 4 жыл бұрын
He actually chose an interesting way to go about the win that caught me off guard. The typical way I win with this loop would be SWORDS + ROLLING EARTHQUAKE After having achieved infinite mana and drawing / milling our deck, we can deterministically kill the table looping Swords to Plowshares on Vadrok, then casting a giant Rolling Earthquake. 1. Play Lore Drakkis 2. Mutate Vadrok onto Drakkis. Cast Snap with Vadrok's trigger, returning both to hand. Return Swords to hand with Drakkis trigger. 3. Cast Vadrok, swords it to gain 3 life. Repeat steps 1-3 for an arbitrary large amount of life 4. Cast Rolling Earthquake with x= enough to kill the table

And in addition we recently updated the deck to win with Dack Fayden + Silence sooooo LMFAO, but I absolutely love that you did all this math lmfao
@SplitSecond
@SplitSecond 4 жыл бұрын
Well, yeah the math can be done, and Sequeira actually had enough life to go with the first swords, bu you'd rather have a bit more just in case anje could "bolt" him xD @Amaterasu, we're curious on what that Dack Fayden line is, care to share a light? :)
@signisakanades1329

It was less a matter of math being able to be done and me settling my own curiosity, and others if they wanted to see what 'lots' was.
@amaterasu86

The Dack line is basically the same concept as the swords one but instead of looping swords you loop a bounce spell on Dack to either draw them out or brain freeze them and then kill with Dack

Hello there! We've started social distancing in our country (Portugal) three weeks before it was compulsory. We've kept it for a bit longer after it stopped being compulsory, and each of us individually wears masks in public, desinfects hands and have no partners that are a risk to us. We take covid very seriously, and we're aware that we might have to stop doing paper magic again soonish. Our idea isn't to promote people not being careful or us ourselves being brash, quite the opposite.

@@pedrosequeira9829 I don't think you take covid seriously if you're reckless enough to go out just to play a card game. If you want to do your part in preventing covid from spreading around, why not just play it online instead? Just because your country doesn't make it compulsory doesn't mean you get a free pass to become reckless about it.
