Great video! Thank you 1,000,000% for calling yourself a woman. I am so sick of this “girly” crap I could throw up. It’s demeaning and derogatory, and women are doing it to themselves?! Women fought long and hard to have respect, and to be treated as equals, and believe me, we’re still not there yet, and this “girly “stuff is sending us back into the dark ages. Thank you for being different!

I trusted your judgement on the Bobbi Brown Face Base and I absolutely adore it - so worth the price! Do you use it interchangeably with the Ilia Milk or at the same time? Is it worth paying for both?

i bought 3 lid lustres last year after watching your VBB video, and they were hands-down my favorite purchase of 2023. sooo reflective and pigmented. definitely worth the splurge, 10/10 would recommend

I would love to try them, but some people reckon they get a lot of glitter fallout. What's your experience? My Pat McGrath eyeshadows have so much glitter fallout throughout the day but I love them so I don't mind looking like Edward Cullen haha

I lusted after the Lid Lustres for years. When Velvet (the olive green) came out, I finally bought it. However, sadly, mine was very chunky, very flakey green glitter in, hard to blend, and irritated my eyes (which are not u usually sensitive). Mine did come with a cracked cap, so maybe that altered the formula? Customer service was incredible - refunded me no questions asked. I went to love these but I’m afraid to try them again!

@@Nanabanana219 in my experience, less is more when it comes to this product. no aggressive swirling with a brush here lol i usually just gently press the fingertip in the pan and that is enough to do a whole eye, that way i don’t get any fallout

@@Kbaltrush i also own velvet! i just double checked and the glitters in mine are finely milled and they’re very buttery. i’ve also not experienced any eye irritation. it does sound like the cracked cap could have compromised the formula. im sorry that happened to you :(

I am disappointed that lemon extract is the second ingredient in the Hydra Glow foundation. I am not understanding why they would include that in the formula when citrus is known to cause phytophotodermatitis 😩

mink is more charcoal with bluish undertones, lithium is more taupe with olive green undertones. hope this helps!!

The Hourlglass plumping lip balms are too painful on my lips to wear. I agree they do look great and the formulation is nice, but the pain is not worth it to me.

Could you compare the HD Glow foundation to Reboot foundation? Thanks❤

Finish is every similar! The reboot has more dewiness and doesnt set down quite as much as the HD Skin glow. I think the reboot has more "moisture" and the HD Skin glow is more "hydration" if that makes sense. The finish is similar- the HD Skin wears longer but the Reboot more emollient making it probably better for someone with very dry skin. I love both!

I agree with the CT setting spray. I bought the small bottle for the first time for wedding and my makeup did not budge. It's now my fave. I think you may have convinced me to try the CT bronzer next.

Came here to say this. I LOVE the Rhode Glazing Milk but have never tried the Ilia…Cate The Great has & she thinks Rhode is much better, not to mention cheaper.

I absolutely love my rosy glow blush. I have the original pink. It's hard to describe what it does but you did an excellent job of it - it is exactly that a brightener. It's like youth and plump cheeks in a blush it is weird. It also looks like it's gonna be super chalky in the pan but somehow it blends effortlessly and looks almost glowy and creamy on the cheeks. If I could only have one blush for the rest of my life it would be that one lol I would love to try the cherry shade. Also you might really like the shade Y00 in the Makeup forever foundation - it's a nice light yellowy tone but not orangy! It looks similar to N00 - I tried both - but it just looks a little bit warmer on the skin where N00 was quite ghostly on me. 😅

Dimethicone is the first ingredient in the Charlotte Tilbory bronzer, so it is definitely a silicone heavy product. It might have more powder in it for the setting affect, but it is just as silicony as nars and such.

Dear Amanda. I have the Mink shade and I agree. It's a very sexy smokey eyeshadow for a fair skinned lady like myself. I usually use Mac Groundwork paintpot under so it lasts. What base you use for VB eyeshadow? It's my holly grail product not much as a formula as it's esthetically perfect in color and effect.
