I'm forever amazed at what we can register down here. Leroy with all that shit piled on top doesn't get a second look from the cops. I expected him to pull you over and have a look. I have a Cobra kit car ( a really nice one), ppl from other states had needed special paperwork. All I needed was the vin # and I was good to go. Even my insurance company had no issues with a 1600 lb car w/ 650 hp. Ya gotta love FL. Murica!

Excuse my ignorance please but my knowledge of 2 step wonders what benefit that would have on his supercharged car? Or do you just mean use it to achieve the same thing a launch control would in limiting his RPMS while launching so he can just hammer the gas and not have to worry about regulating throttle to keep it at a certain rpm. Just slam the gas dump the clutch and go. 2 step is normally used to spin the turbos at launch if I'm correct, though I do know it would still have the desired effect.

Michael Graper ever seen the video they did in the wind tunnel? It needs more than a roof and hatch. The tunnel showed that something like 550 HP is going to overcoming aerodynamic loss compared 200 and something for a vette with regular body panels. So it’s costing them a ton. And just adding roof did nothing. I can’t remember about the hatch. But watch it. It was interesting. And Cleetus needs to take heed. They constantly struggle to get into the 7’s, even with the “new and best more powerful engines” unless conditions are perfect. It’s the aero that’s killing them.

That noise you heard, that went away when you slowed down, was probably a rapid oscillation of the straps on the tires. I haul a lot of stuff, so I was vexed by that noise the first few times I heard it. You didn't hear the noise again after you stopped because you cranked the tire straps down some more.

Was going to comment similar, my Commodore with the 3800 v6 has shot oxygen sensors and would be lucky to get 10 mile to a gallon, with what feels like 80hp. Really should change them lol.

I have a truck with a 5.9l v8 that makes like 245 hp (not sure if thats crank or wheel, however most likely crank) so my typical average is about 10-10.5 mpg, 11.5 if i drive reaaaaaaally nicely, but I'm an 18 year old with a fun truck so of course that doesnt happen xD

A 2 step is possible for any car. Where as anti lag is only for turbo cars because timing is retarded an extream amount to where pretty much the car is just dumping unburnt fuel into the hot side of the turbo keeping it spooled because it instantly ignites as soon as it touches the inside of the turbo.
