Oh my gosh. I'm excited. Dallas did really great going there with Ramah and Quintus. I sort of suspected that Ramah might die from the get go because there's nothing in the bible talking about Thomas having a wife. I'm not saying Thomas was never married, but I don't recall a Ramah in the bible at all.

Everyone was saying shocking and surprising, but to me (as someone who hasn't seen it yet) I came to this conclusion myself before seeing any spoiler. To me that would be the only thing that was shocking to fans, but necessary to remain some accuracy with the gospels. I was anticipating it because fans would not accept if they mutually parted ways in the series, and she would need to be out of the way for Thomas to fulfill his role in the gospels. In one of the trailers, Thomas was looking sad and then looked up at the night sky and smiled. To me that hinted at my suspicion. When people said "shocking" I put the pieces together myself.

I was saying to my husband now I see why Thomas doubted. I still didn’t care for how this was done since Jesus came back to the scene and did nothing but could have. I wish they had the disciples take him away and not be there. It made Jesus look inept.

​@@mechelledesigns I think they had him respond to the wails and grief of his friends (as real Jesus would have - he would not have just ignored their cries to avoid an uncomfortable moment). They had him look to the Father and only do what was in His will, even when it hurts him on a personal level, as real Jesus would have. Sometimes our pain will be used to bring glory to God in an even bigger way down the road than the glory he would have got from making everything right in the moment. Permissive parenting (saying yes to avoid hard moments) is not good parenting. Sometimes the answer must be "no" or "not yet" for the long run growth and development. I can see at least 3 accounts straight from the Bible where this is heading (2 relating to Thomas and one not about Thomas at all) and it is going to be beautiful!!

Of course he healed Lazarus and the little girl. Both of these people were dead and brought back to life. This storyline is fiction okay.

I saw the movie at the theater this past Sunday. I was struck with such sadness at the end. This season will be so sad, we know where it is heading. I am thankful that The Chosen has touched so many people. I hope it will wake people up to understand what our beloved Jesus did for all of us sinners.

Not only is everybody changing in these new scenes in in this episode but they're definitely going to see the change of Jesus and his attitude towards what he has to go through and it might be hard for them to realize what he has to go through and keep up. It's going to take a lot of patience on their parts there are parts for Jonathan Rumi playing Jesus and what he's going to have to go through

That hug from Simon Peter to Thomas.. gosh that was impactful because he knows very well how much pain when Jesus can't heal. The scene with John breaking those shackles..🥹🥹 that really hit me. Him showing Jesus, I'm free!! No more earthly shackles, I'm waiting on you. 🥹 now I'm waiting for 2 weeks to see the next 3, and yes 4 weeks the final 2. I think with her double duty as a television actress on a network show, this shouldn't come as a big shock. She was the most expendable character and since she isn't found anywhere in the Gospels, the writers had very little choice.

Personally I think she'll be resurrected when Jesus is resurrected because in Matthew 27 it says the graves were open and the saints that were asleep are awaken and come out of their graves.. it also paved the way for Doubting Thomas' way of life. I think they did this masterfully.

Spoiler alert if you haven't watched episode 3 of season 4.) When an actor no longer wants to be part of a TV series (e.g., Graham Wardle, who played Ty Borden in the TV series Heartland, or Megan Boone, who played Elizabeth Keen in the TV series The Black List), the screenwriters figure out a way to incorporate their removal into the plot. A friend believes that 1) actor Jasmine Al-Bustami who played Ramah wanted off the series, or 2) her acting in the TV series NCIS Hawaii conflicted with The Chosen's shooting schedule, or 3) pressure from far-right groups who did not like her role in The Chosen because she also played a lesbian Federal Agent in NCIS, prompted the screenwriters to come up with the ending to Episode 3 of Season 4. Then they manufactured other reasons for that ending.

This wasn't a spoiler for me, as I saw it in the theater first. However, that being said, Ramah getting killed (by Quintus) was a huge disappointment for me. They built up her character for 3 seasons, and then Jesus leads her and Thomas on by getting their hopes up and then this happens, and he refuses to heal her. I would have rather there had not been a Ramah. It doesn't make Jesus look good either. Yes, I realize this is just a fictionalized version of the gospels, but it hit home hard to me as I had a similar version happen to me 33 years ago.

But Jesus wouldn’t have let that happen… healing would have occurred. I’m referring to the end of episode 3… because the Scriptures say…. Matthew 4:23-25 New Living Translation (NLT) “And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed-he healed them all. “ As you can see from this verse, the real Jesus healed anyone who came to Him. So I think “Come and See” studios messed up with that last episode… at least they didn’t abide by the Word of God. Besides leaving it on a sad note. However, the new Chosen was great as usual!

The actress playing Rama, Thomas GF or fiance' was one of the reasons I stopped watching The Chosen. Dallas still chose to keep her after Season 3 in spite of her playing a lesbian in NCIS Hawaii and she actually made out with another woman. Yuk! Glad to know Season 4 is her last.

I guess I usually separate the actor from the acting, or there really wouldn’t be anything to ever watch. She did a great job playing Ramah, and her other characters don’t really change that for me. Dallas only asks the actors to honor the story and do the work to tell the story properly. He doesn’t ask his actors to believe everything that he does as long as they work hard to bring the story to life, and they have absolutely done that. In my opinion, you missed a lot of great episodes, many that don’t even have Ramah in it. However, that is absolutely your choice. To each their own.

Jesus could and should raise Raima from the dead. If he doesn’t this is all garbage. I am not watching this show ever again. If he raises her I will watch again. She and Thomas were supposed to be married and Jesus blessed it. If I were Thomas and Jesus doesn’t raise her from the dead I would never follow Jesus again.
