The Amazing Spiderman circa 1962. I've read all of them. The original was more lore friendly. Peter Parker was a nerd who wore the ugliest glasses and wasn't in any way cool or attractive. He wanted to go to the science exhibit with Sally and Flash Gordon, but they didn't want to hang with a nerd. He went by himself, got bit by a spider. Sure Harry wasn't there or Mary Jane, but that's closer than this movie got. And the wrestling scene, that was in the comics. Not in this movie though. :I
